You can buy those tickets ahead of time but there isn't any advanced sale discount. There is only price.....the "day of event" price. (The tickets for the 30th and 31st have already been on sale for AP holders, so they definitely are available in advance). I know, they worded it in such a confusing way. There's been some discussion on this and apparently there was some confusion last year as well because it was worded the same way, so I don't know why they didn't change it.

What a great place for a birthday celebration. Have a wonderful time! :)

Isn't it! I am so excited. I am going to do the first seating at lunch, for her...
she will be 44. pirate:

And the first time she ever went to disney she was 16 and she went with me!

JUst a little over 2 weeks before I have to make the ressie...

Hi

I was just looking at the calander on Disney.com and saw that these rides are closed for Sept and Oct - what I am HOPING is that the October schedule is not up to date and that storybookland and casey Jr. will be open these are to of our fav. rides for the kids.

I heard they are putting Lincoln back so the 50 years (which was fun to watch) will be going away

So I am thinking one more month and the schedule will be correct?

Closed for Refurbishments:
Casey Jr. Circus Trains
Storybook Land Canal Boats
Disneyland: The First 50 Magical Years

Casey Jr. and Storybook Canal Boats are scheduled to be down until Nov. 20. Someone correct me if I'm wrong I thought they were keeping both Abe Lincoln and First 50 Magical Years and that will be up again in December.

That info lines up with what I have heard as well. Another site is also reporting that Gadget's Go Coaster will be down September 19 – October 26 for refurbishment and Pirates of the Caribbean will be down September 28 October 2 as well. But as with anything regarding the Disney calendar and schedule, things are subject to change! :confused3

Oh no not the gadget coaster too - this is one she can ride and loves. So three rides down the really sucks for our kids..

Casey and Story are really favorites....so I will just hope things change but plan for the worst!

We had to adjust our dates slightly. We will be there from Oct 9-12 and will do the party on the 9th. I am getting very excited as more and more Halloween events get added to the parks. :yay: Now a Space Mt and special fireworks! :cheer2:

I just booked HOJO for 10/30-11/1 :cool1:, with a possible TOT party 10/30:woohoo:!....Now I just have to tell DH!!! :rolleyes1

Good news,

Bought disneyland tickets today from flight centre here in canada for 830 dollars canadian for 2 adult and 2 childrens tickets for 7days. We are booked in the howard johnson from the 20th until the 28th on a top floor with skylights looking at disney(got entertainment rate.) .

Also found out I get in free to seaworld due to being in the military so one day down there. And my DS 9 is going with me to Universal for a day while my DW, DD 4 and DD2 go to ariels grotto.

Found a rate for a midsize car out of LGB for 232 for the time we are there but thinking of waiting until closer and using priceline...any thoughts???

I have already booked my flight through jet blue for 740 american for all 5 of us to fly from seattle to long beach....getting excited now.

I'd consider scheduling the San Diego and Universal trips next to each other and limit the rental car to those days instead of the whole trip.

Well thought about that however, it will be close to 100 just for transfers from the airport....and if we want to go for drives or whatever....so its not that big of a difference just to keep it.

In that case...sounds like a fabulous trip!

I have been thinkin bout spending a bit more for a convertable:P might as well enjoy the sun(hopefully.)

we switched our res. to the Carosel inn!! Very excited about that! Please tell me that I am not the only one who is buying outfits for my kids already for our trip LOL..

Not buying for the kids, but I've been buying clothing for myself since February. So guilty as charged. ;)

I haven't gotten her any outfits yet but I have been browsing. I did get her costume already for TOT. She'll end up wearing it to the parks that day as well.

We're going in October too! 10/13-10/18, celebrating hubby's 40th birthday on the 14th with dinner at the Blue Bayou. And we'll be going to Mickey's Trick or Treat Party on the 16th! Going with SIXTEEN family members...should be a great time! :)

Well we are going Oct. 28 to the 30th. We are going to Mickey's Trick or Treat party on the 28th.
We will be staying at VGC one bedroom! Yeah!! I so wanted to buy, but the economy got in the way. I'm just happy we can stay there on our SSR points!
