OCTOBER Challenge

Welcome MK and since I'm hosting this month's CHALLENGE......GO for it. I guess it would be nice if I posted what I've been doing and I'm sorry to say not to much, only what I did at the scrapbook conv. last week in Orlando which was 6.
Not only is this Chemo and drugs making me tired as all get out, but it's doing a real number on my diabities which they told me it would and when its so high its like getting a double wammy of tiredness and the brain not working like you are use to it.

I completed 20 more pages which brings me half way through. 35 pages done since the beginning of October.

I also put together a small 10x7 book with 20 pages. They are having a 90th Birthday Party for DH's Cousin. Both her Mother and Father came from the same village in Italy. While we were their I took pictures of the village, the cousins, the streets, the little church with it belltower and whats left of both the houses her parents were raised in. Not knowing they were planning this party. I've done a lot of journeling on the village and what it like. I very excited about the book and know her children will love it. I will not be counting this book in my total though.

I was thinking of doing a small book on the party and mailing to her cousin in Italy.

Having to attend a scrappin class once a week sure does get you motivated. I am loving this class and have learned so much since I've started. I also love the CM products. I am replacing alot of my products with their products. There are so easy to use.

I went to a continuing ed event week before last and had some free time, so I really got a lot done. I'm up to 33 pages for October (may be a record for me). I have been working on a scrapbook of an annual event I have been working on for the last 4 years. I still have to do 2003.

Well it’s been a week since I posted last and I have gotten exactly ZERO pages done. Sunday is the first free day that I have since returning from vacation, four weeks ago. Geeze…… I won’t be doing any scraping Sunday because I need to carve the pumpkin for a contest at work. First prize is a $500.00 office party! ! ! I’m going for it with a totem pole theme. I won two years ago. Then it was 2 nights at a hotel. I carved a fish. My mantra for this month is “next month…next month…next month”.

I got 12 more pages done today (baby album). That makes 49.

I hope to help a friend with her London album tomorrow. She just got home on Wed. We printed her pictures today and laid out the pages -- so we are ready to go.

Went to an all day crop yesterday and got 12 pages done (6 2 page layouts). That's an all time record for one day for me... LOL!!

Brings my total to 16.

I bought the new Becki Higgins sketch book and LOVE it!! I took her sketches with me everywhere I went anyway and now I have an awesome book to go along with!!

It was a very rainy day here, so I stayed home and got lots of pages done --

10 on my Faith Explosion album (finally finished until next year!)
4 in my family album
2 in my DS's baby album

That's 65 do far.

Went to a friends house to crop and only got 3 pages done. Brings my total to 9 for the month. How sad..............

Just completed 19 6x6 pages for a gift album ! Yah !!!

Just finished the last 21 pages for my friends gift album. Total for this month : 52 ! I know I won't have time to do any more until next week. Will be to busy cleaning up the mess from the last couple of days.

Well it looks like a handful of you guys scrapped your hearts out this month. Then there’s people like me that wonder where the time went. I was able to put together 4 pages this week. Grand total for this month …………. 10. Well it is a nice round number and I did manage to get into double digits…… LOL……….. Happy Halloween to everyone!

I'm leaving for WDW on Tues. so if we could get the totals for the month in to me, I will try to either get it mailed before I go or I'm sorry to say it will be mailed out after the 12th.
