October Bounceback??

We will be at WL the end of October which we booked through a bounceback in April. Question is, when we are there in Oct., do you think the bounceback offer at that time will still be only for 2012, or will it extend into 2013 since there will only be 2 months left in the year? We've taken advantage of them every time we go, but I can't remember when the new year offer starts.

I go in November and all the BB's in my room have always only been to the end of the year.

When I was there last Sept the bounceback was for free dining for the next year. I was not interested in free dining, so didn't bother with it. When I went back Nov 26th-Dec 4th I was really disappointed that the bounceback was again for free dining for the next year. However, just a couple of days before the end of the trip, I noticed the housekeeper had put a new bounceback flyer in the room that was for a room discount for dates all during the next year. I immediately called and booked three bounceback deals for 2012. I don't remember the exact date the new bounceback flyer got put in the room, but know it was not there earlier in the week, because I specifically looked at it the day I checked in on Nov 26th, hoping for a room discount and not free dining. This was at CSR and I don't know if the bouncebacks actually changed during that specific week or if the housekeeper may have just been late in putting the new offer out in the rooms.

I'll be there again the first week of Sept and also Oct 27th-Nov 4th. I would really like to see room discount bouncebacks for 2013, but am not expecting them to be out that soon.

When I go in September I will be on a bounceback from last September -- so that one was for the following year. In fact we have done bouncebacks the last few years when traveling in sept-oct. hoping for one again!

What's a bounceback and does every visitor get them?

A bounce back rate is a rate that you get when you are staying on property and a card is LEFT in your hotel room. You must call reservations BEFORE you check out to get this rate. Also must leave a deposit as well. It could be up to 40 % off . I have done this before but Its caused alot of pressure because you had only till the end of your vacation to book.
But since I now know I'm prepared next time.

Yes you can book 2 rooms. I understand the poster that mentioned the pressure of booking far in advance, so we sit down an pick dates before we arrive. Understandably not everyone knows if they can make the date they book, but it's a room only res. and you have plenty of time to cancel. We love bounceback. We figure it's better to book something at a really great price and not be able to use, rather than not book it and miss out on a huge discount. Fortunately we've been able to utilize the discount every time.

When we went last October (2011), the bounceback was free dining the next year, but the dates were extremely limited: mid-August through end of September. I was really hoping for a room discount for 2012, but no such luck

How many rooms can you book with the bounceback promos? If I wanted to book 2 rooms, could I do that?

Only current resort guests can book a BB. So if you want two rooms, you'll have to work around that. For example, DW could book one BB room and DH could book another - but you can't book a BB in someone's name who is not a current guest (the CM's do check to verify you are currently staying at a WDW resort), and BB's are not transferable later.
