October A&E/SDMT FP+ Cancellation Thread

Wow sorry to hear that. It worked when I gave one to someone else on this forum. I don't have any numbers per se, but she got my fastpass about 5 seconds after I dropped it in the afternoon.

I have had FP's released to me twice (so thankful) and both times it has worked. It's definitely possible to have somebody else snatch them up though. Obviously you need to have everything set up on your MDE and ready to go when the person releases it. It's important to make sure that you do not have another FP in the same time slot that would prevent you from snagging the desired FP. I would say that it works the majority of the time, when done correctly.

Candfam graciously dropped his A&E for me. We coordinated through email an exact time, mid-afternoon. I was signed into my account, and had followed these pages: MDE drop-down menu > Fastpass+ > sign in > new fastpass+ > select party > choose park and date > confirm and apply changes > and there I waited on the actual FP selection page. I refreshed as soon as the minute rolled over to our scheduled time, and there it was. Now, if you have other FPs you don't want to lose (such as a parade or SDMT) you'll have to go through the modify option - and I'm not 100% sure how that way works. But, you'll still want to be signed in and as far into the process as possible - I also had success doing the exact same thing for a BOG ADR.

Hello. I keep seeing people say that they can "see" 1 or 2 or however many open for certain time slots. How are you seeing these? I'm trying to figure out the best way to check for A&E leading up to my trip, and the only thing I've come up with is to go into one of my days, and modify a selection, then look through the options it gives me. Is there a better way to see if anything is open?

There is a way, by having no FPs set up... So that way your availability is open throughout your whole trip every day, all day. The more flexibility you have the more options. But, this is very tricky if you have other FPs that are hard to get and don't want to cancel those, then this isn't a option for you!! I hope this answers your question?

Tweaking my incredibly weird FP+ scheduling yet again.

I just realized I have 4 times listed for 7DMT and NO times for Splash Mountain...Where was my brain? I guess I was so hyped about getting 7DMT on my MK days, I completely forgot about Splash.

Anyway, I would like to release 7DMT for 2 people at 3:05 on October 21st. If anyone wants it, please PM me tonight or tomorrow. I am releasing tomorrow night around 7PM regardless.

ETA: unless I get a PM asking me to hold it a little longer that is...I mean, if I don't hear from anyone, that is when I'll release it.

Make sure you check for singles as well, and look for overlapping time slots for your party. There were singles available for the last day of my trip for several days following my 60- day mark!

How do I check for singles? I've read mesaboy's thread, but I have a party of four that I ended up setting all up lastnight. would I have to cancel the entire group, and start over? Then go 1 by 1? We did get SDMT, and my DD found it on youtube (kids..) but she didn't seems really thrilled by it. So would definitely try for singles for A&E to overlap, just 2 is all we need, but want to make sure I do it correctly. Thanks.
