October 7, 2006 Western "Latitude Adjustment Cruise"

Legos ist verbotten at der housen! The boys go nuts over them but I have to stand firm. They can't keep their 100+ SW figures together much less a bazillion Lego pieces!

The bracelets have arrived!! Place your orders!

Hi Guys........

I am still here. Jack's surgery very went well. He was back at school with in a week. :cool1:

I some how got suckered into running the silent auction at his school this weekend. So, I have been going crazy with that since we got back from Disney (with the exception of the week Jack was laid up). That's why I haven't been around.

Allen...I know I want some bracelets, just not sure how many yet. We haven't figured out who we are going to con....er sucker... I mean convince to get the ajoining cabin to ours. So, for now put us down for 2 large and 2 small.

We'll take 4 bracelets. Not sure I can get my husband to wear one but we'll get him one anyway! Thanks!

Congratulations!!!
We got a downgrade to a Cat7, slightly obstucted verandah, :3dglasses but worth the 350.00 savings! Same stateroom we had on the Wonder this year, also. Hey Jamie, I talked to Caroline about working on Valerie to get on the board, but you might need to work on her also. If I run into her, i'll work on her as well.

Hi Everyone! Are the rest of you driving or flying into Florida? We got our plane reservations all taken care of. Its nice to have that out of the way! :cool1: Can't wait!!!

What's the best time to arrive at the port on departure day? Thanks!

Hey Liz, Good to see a post. We usually drive down :moped: and spend the night somewhere in south Georgia. Not sure exactly what we will do yet. Some of the people from this area do fly though. We like to arrive in the area at least the day before we leave. I plan to spend the day Friday at Kennedy Space Center. We must eat at Grills the night before, and this year, we got off the ship and went to Grills for breakfast when we got back. Arriving at the Port for depature or "embarkation" :rolleyes1 as the cruise industry calls it.... (This info is from 2 trips to the port and many post on this board) The earlier you get there, the sooner you get on the ship. That being said, the port doesn't open the gates until around 10am. Then the terminal doesn't open until around 10:30. Once in the terminal, check-in usually begins around 11 am. Boarding can begin anywhere from 11:30 til 1:00, around noon. The Captain determines when passengers can begin to board. I forget what time you can got to your stateroom, someone help me here. I want everyone to have their bracelets ahead of time this trip so we can find each other at the port or where ever we may wind up before the trip. E-mail me using the link in my signature, or pm me your snail mail info, and i'll mail your bracelets to you....You too, Stacy!!!

 Thanks for the info! So if we planned on getting to the area about 10:00 that would be good? We also would have to return our rental car once we got there. We fly into Orlando late, late on the 5th and will drive to my mom's in Jacksonville. Then we'll leave Jax. the morning of the 7th and head to the port!!! I'll send you my address for the bracelets. Let me know if you don't get it.

We're not sure of our plans yet, but we have driven every time before and have spent at least a day or two in the area before boarding.

I talked to Imsproutingears on the phone today :earsgirl: - they are all still definitely cruising! She has a group of 12 family members booked.

Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving! Gobble, gobble, gobble, then diet, diet, diet so we can get into those swimsuits by October! It'll take that long!!! Don't forget about those speedos, Mal Hombre! :magnify:

Are all 12 of them included in the 36? :teacher: The arm band place is running another $1 special. Should I get some of the small bracelets?
