October 7, 2006 Western "Latitude Adjustment Cruise"

We are leaving on the Crown Princess Aug 19th and there are now 9 of us Ian Thomas Gardner was born 1-05-07. We are the baby sitters for the first year or so.

We were lucky to have gotten on the Eastern Repro Aug 18, 2008. Needless to say the family is very excited. Mary and I sailed five times on the Magic between Easter 06 and two B2B's the kids were very jealous.

Since were baby sitting it will be 2009 before we sail alone. We are looking to spent the winter of 2009 (Jan, Feb Mar) some where in the Carib. Maybe San Juan. Everyone have a great summer

Hey John, good to hear from you. Congrats on the new baby sitting job!! Glad you got the PC repo cruise. I really wanted to do the west bound as it does depart Port Canaveral on my birthday...but my DW the can't get out of school that early without a considerable loss of pay. So we will wait for the October fall break. We did an Alaska cruise on the original Crown Princess. I'm sure the new is much nicer and bigger! Have good trip and let us know how it goes. Hope to see you on the Magic again someday!!

Hi all, just was curious to see how you all were doing.

Any future Disney cruises or WDW trips in the works?
After getting back home from our cruise in October, I had a severe case of mourning for several weeks before getting back to normal.

We had such a great time surprising our sons with the cruise. They didn't know we were going on the cruise till we let the cat out of the bag in the stateroom. They thought we were just taking a tour of the ship.

Well now I've booked the Special 5-Night Bahamas cruise with 2 stops at Castaway Cay departing 09/01/08 for just DH and me. This time it's a surprise for DH.

But...September 2008 is so far away. DH agreed we could buy a DVC resale and then addon at the new Animal Kingdom Villas once we were in the system. AKV dvc purchase was done yesterday and I'm taking one of the twins with me for a week at AKV in October 2007. Okay I can handle this - it's only a few months away, but no surprises for this trip.

Good to hear from you fellow cruisers. Can't wait to see if any of our other fellow cruisers decide to chime in as well.

I'm looking forward to seeing Disney's new ships. DH and I are hoping for a Disney Alaskan Cruise in 2011, because we're going to be celebrating our 20th Wedding Anniversary that year.

Michelle, Joe and I are really excitied about a double dip. Hey Allen and crew how about changing your cruise and join us???

Joe and I are going to take a 4 day cruise on the Wonder Dec 2nd. We are going to stay at POFQ after the cruise for three days.

Hope to talk to all real soon.

I wish we could change, but we are restricted to the first 2 full weeks of October and we wanted to do an Eastern again this trip. So we are on the October 11, '08. We will however be passing your way this October as we finish up our Fall Foliage Tour (scroll down for trip itinerary). We will be spending the night somewhere in Pennsylvania on Oct. 10, this year. My guess is near Harrisburg. It's possible we could detour through the Philadelphia area as a surprise, though. If we come through close to Philly, maybe we could have a mini meet!! Would love to do a cruise near Christmas, but with DW's school schedule, we would have to go between Christmas and New Years. Maybe one day...Good to hear from you, tell Joe and Michelle I said hi and I will try to find out exactly where we will be staying in October.

I know how it is when you have to follow a school schedule . We would switch, but we really want to do a double dip. Maybe next cruise we will get together.
I don't think your fall trip comes near us. You will be near Harrisburg thinking around Interstate 81. Wish you were going to be closer.
