October 31 in MK?

OK. Considering rescheduling our Mommy and Me vacation and am narrowing it down to maybe Oct 28 - Nov 1.

Does anybody have any experience with this particular time...interested in weather and crowds mostly.

Also--interested in what happens at the MK on the actual day of Halloween...crowds, events, etc. That would be our last full day of vacation and would love to spend the whole day at MK!

Nothing outside of the ordinary happens during the day at the MK on Halloween. However that's usually the last night for MNSSHP, so the park will close early.

We got there early and got a whole lot done by noon. By then it started getting a bit more busy. Of course that year Halloween fell on a Friday and so that could have made it a bit more busy. The temp was perfect! Low 80's!! very nice.

We left and took an afternoon break and then got ready for the Halloween party. I loved being in MK on Halloween night. We all got dressed up and went back around 4:00 pm and they let us in and put bracelets on our arms.

We were able to ride everything till around 6:00 and then they herd you into tomorroland and close the rest of the park till the party started!

They had a band and dancing...It was fun! The party was SOLD OUT and was crowded, but you could ride everything with practically no wait. Everyone seems to hang out around Mainstreet USA..So get away from the bottle necks and you will be fine. We managed to watch both parades and I must say the 2nd parade was much less crowded.

Loved the Headless horseman...You should go and do the party! You will love it!
