We put in a request for a dining rotation. I guess we have a 1 in 3 chance of getting it. Basically we saw the one Shelly had (she posted it). She had 3 nights at AP. We think we will like the atmosphere of AP the best so we put in a request for that one (not to mention being with Shelly and Kelly would be a plus). We have a 1 in 3 chance of getting it

Sunset. Would love to see it, but also don't want to miss dining since we are newbies we want to experience each dining room. Can we make both though? Isn't early seating split into 5:30, 5:45 and 6? If we are lucky enough to get 6, we could do a 5:47 sunset.

Dining was switched to 2 seating about a year ago s you only have one of two times now. Remember you will see each Dining room at least twice plus one a third time. It's the menu's that dictate it for us more than the DR's and I have no love at all for the regular Luminiers menu so that is why we will skip dinner there that night. John has promised me a great burger and fries for dinner or room service, since it's my birthday LOL.. Actually, we may eat late on Key West.. Who knows, I am not a must have big dinner on my birthday kinda gal so we will wing it.


Online docs question
So we filled out our online docs last night. I know we need to print out the contract and sign it. And I know we need to print out the payment authorization one.
So

1 - what about the one where we put in our passport info and address and stuff. Do we print that out to?

We print out everything. Better safe than sorry!

2 - for the payment authorization, we gave our main CC. But we will also have our Disney Rewards visa points. So when it comes to room charges we want first to us our OBC, then to use our disney dollars and last to use our CC. Do I just give them the rewards card when we check in? The payment form did not let us enter more than 1 card.

You will always be charged you OBC first, then they will charge against your credit card UNLESS you go to Guest Services and have them apply the Disney Rewards which they will then apply second, then credit card :)

3 - We signed up the kids for the kids clubs. Do we need to print out any of that?

No idea. Shell???

4 - there were a bunch of forms that I think were 'optional'. Do we need any of these? Am I forgetting about something? I want to make our check in as smooth as possible.

Again, we print everything and have the ones that required our signature on the top :)

Am I missing something, :confused3 I thought that 5:47 is sunset in Key West and I thought you guys were on the cruisemate list as being late dining. I know that Key West sunsets are supposed to be spectacular but I think that the sun should well be in the ocean by the time you guys are dining. Or did you guys all change to early seating?



We were changed to early dining at 105 days out.
 
Ok so apparently I created and uploaded the meet-up schedule several weeks ago (since my upload was dated 9/9) but never shared the link with everyone.

I am so sorry guys... Here it is to print out and put with your papers. I will be attaching this to my inside stateroom door so I see it each day and not miss anything :)

The dining used to be split like that but no longer is. There are just 2 times.

Shell - if you want to post the info here and then explain how it works for everyone (since I have no idea) that would be perfect. I will then copy it and post it on the web..

The podcast team is releasing the link to order tickets to the TSM event during DISapalooza tonite about 9:00 and I have to order those for my neighbor and I before they sell out. I plan to have one chatroom open on the Mac and one open on the laptop.. This should be fun LOL

I posted several pages back a question asking if I had the right documents printed out. I have the cruise contract signature page and the payments authorization form. Can anyone confirm that these are the only ones I need?

Also, Shell, would you mind asking concierge about the World Series. We are biy NY fans so I would love to know. I know you are busy so only if you get a chance and think of it. Thanks. :)

I believe that is all you need but we print everything just in case.

John reminded me that last year on Sunday Sessions was carrying the Redskins game on FOX as well as a few other games on different screens so being that it is the World Series, chances are probably good we will get to see some of it in Sessions.

If it's on in Sessions I know you will find John & I in there for some of the games..
 
Hi Kristen.... The only reason I know is because Shell and her family were kind enough to invite us to share their table on the cruise and since she has concierge she was able to request a meal rotation. We are assuming that she got it, but of course it can always change.

If you don't have concierge, you can't find out until you arrive and check in.

I thought it might be concierge, just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything!!
