Good morning all... We have slightly altered our arrival plans for the cruise...
We were feeling bad that we would be driving all the way to Florida and would be passing WDW to get to the port and not stopping. Kailynn in all her 23 years has never been near WDW or seen the castle, so yesterday when I realized Brian was off on the Wed, Thur and Friday (shift worker) before the cruise, I could take off, and John is retired and doesnt count

, I called Kailynn and asked if she could get off one more day so we could drive down Wednesday... When she said yes, the plan was put into place.
So this morning I called DVD to see what may be available, knowing it was Halloween week and Food and Wine I really wasn't sure what I would find but I was able to get us a 1 bedroom at Old Key West , which I thought was great since we are going to Key West

so anyway I booked the room and there we have it.
Now this does mean we will NOT be staying at the Radisson

and using the shuttle services after all. We will have our car so we will just drive from WDW to the Port on Sat morning and pay to park there instead of paying for the hotel room at the Radisson. I know some will be mad at me but we are disney geeks here and we have all seen the castle, Kailynn hasn't please understand
Not sure yet about doing
MNSSHP on the 29th.. We will have been in the car for at least 12 hours, and since we aren't sure when we will arrive (never know what 95 traffic will be like) we may skip it and grab dinner and relax, then hit MK for a full day on Friday to include wishes... MNSSHP is a blast but I hate when it is packed in there and it will be so crowded that night. I don't know we will see.. maybe I will buy tickets for Kailynn and Brian, they are young and have energy for those crowds
I am going to keep my Radisson reservation for a little longer just to make sure 100% that Kailynn got off work, then will let you guys know when I am canceling in case anyone needs the shuttle reservations we have at 10:00 am for 4 people.
More good news, John just called,, our cruise documents came

and our new DVC book came

(of course we are out of points now

).. It's certainly been a Disney day at our house
