HI everyone, We would love to join the T&T group. This is our 3rd cruise with Disney but first Halloween. We have an 8yr old girl and a soon to be 5yr old boy. Birthday is on Halloween. We are staying in room 2114. For those of you who are new to Disney cruise line, we always bring the kids bubbles to blow when we leave dock. They really seem to enjoy it.

Welcome Buttercup1

I can't wait!! I leave in two days for Disneyworld!!

Yes!!! I'm leaving early Thursday morning!! Started packing tonight, Tuesday!

For everyone leaving in the next couple of days - here's wishing you safe travel. We leave on Friday and I can't wait. Starting to get everything packed (we don't need shorts in IL so those are already in the bag :) ).

Getting very excited! I can't believe that we have been able to keep this a surprise from the kids - I thought for sure one of us would slip and they would catch us!

Thanks mott! We are also keeping it a sursprise for our 2 DD!!!! We are planning to wake them up at 3:00 and ask them...What would you like to do today, go to school or go to Disney? LOL!!!! I definetely have to record this in my camera!!! See you there!

We're leaving tomorrow! :cool1: Has anyone heard if CC has been affected by Wilma or Alpha? Can't wait to lounge on the beach. tstobb - hope you are all well and didn't have too much damage. We'll see you on Deck 10 at 3:30 on Sunday!

Thanks for all of the concern :grouphug: . We came through great. Lost about a dozen shingles from the roof and had our fig tree uprooted but it's already replanted & doing fine. Still without power at home but my office was open voluntarily. so I figured I'd at least come in to check my e-mail :goodvibes . Hopefully they get the power back on before we lose all of the food in the freezers.
Driving in today, saw a lot of damage from downed trees to street signs bent down to the ground. Most stop lights are out (70% of FPL area is without power) and very few people remember that you treat that as a 4 way stop - almost got creamed twice on the way in. Schools are out today but will probably be opened tomorrow depending on the power situation. My parents pool cage is gone. Not down - gone, missing, nowhere to be found - kind of like Dorthy in the Wizard of Oz.
Looking forward to the trip! 1 week from today we'll be on Castaway Cay! pirate:

tstobb - Glad to hear everythings OK.

hilbil - from what I've read on the boards and what my husband said (based on watching Wilma's path over google earth), there is probably some wind damage, but hopefully that's all. If I know Disney, they'll have it cleaned up in time for us :sunny: .

I was just going to post that thread link...wonder if they will have time to get things fixed by the time we are scheduled to doc? CC is my DH favorite part of the curise!

Ours too - 6 days until we're there!

yahoo!

Do you know if it's supposed to warm up in FL by the weekend? Shirley said it's cold now. When I check the accuweather forcast, it says upper 70's by Saturday?

My daughter (who only thinks we are going to Cocoa beach) was hoping today was Thursday. As excited as my kids are about "going to Cocoa Beach", I can't imaging if they knew we were actually taking a Disney curise. I can't wait to tell them.

Weather forecast for Nassau on Monday the 31st is for a few showers and a high of 85.
Cape Canaveral forecast is for low to mid 70's through Sunday with showers every day but Friday. Sunday temperature is supposed to get up to 79.
