Things are busy here! DD's getting ready to graduate!!! So she's getting all of her school work done and we're getting things set for college. AHHHH!!!!! It's crazyness!!!!

Right back atcha Beans--

I can't believe that in 5 days I'll be heading back down to WDW (just Steve and I without the kids for the Teddy Bear and Doll Event.)

Speaking of Steve, today was our "unofficial" anniversary. It's the day we started dating EIGHTEEN YEARS AGO!!! Where has the time gone? That is 1/2 of my freakin life! Our 17th wedding anniversary is later this year (and we'll be cruising on our anniversary and for my birthday in November.)

So I think we all need to celebrate together. Grab a beverage with me (I spent the evening alone ) Steve had to work late (very late) and the kids were at my parents house this evening. I got to sit at home alone tonight. That's okay though because he remembered what the date was because he told me so when he got home.

But seriously I think we need to plan to all cruise together again someday. Maybe we can plan something for 2008 (since so many of us have 2007 plans already) I'd love it if we could all have fun on another cruise together.

Next weekend...swedish festival...I am not swedish but hey...crappy booths.. I can hardly pass that up!! RJ we can go to that candy store!!

Now, where is Neil... Oh Neil...what are we doing next weekend??

I'll have to see what's on the calendar. Best friends daughter is in the Aladdin play at middle school here. But we could go on Thursday and not Saturday....hhmm...

And I know all y'all are dying to know what I came up with for the 11th Anniversary gift of steel. OK Ready....Silverware. Yep, I said silverware. Stainless Steel Mikasa. See, Neil HATES our silverware and since for some reason he is so picky about it - problem solved I made him pick it out and got an anniversary present all at the same time.

Ah..now next year...Silk or Linen...Egads.

Off to ranch tomorrow. So talk to y'all on Monday!!

OK, I got the brilliant idea to make scrap/picture books for Mom and Grandma for Mother's Day. Kinda a "Timmy and Cassie" thru the ages. Hey, they're only 8 and almost 13. How hard could it be?




cheri is not allowed any more bright ideas ...bangs head on table I have NO pictures of 2002. I'm sure my kids must have done something that year. 2001 is pretty sketchy, too. Let's see Cassie was 3 then. She was cute.
must figure this out ... stick figures? replace with a pix of Kimmy or Ryan? hmmmm, Mom might notice.

Ok, so today it's supposed to be 96 degrees and PG&E is shutting down our power grid from 8am - 3pm to "upgrade the equipment"

OMG! one of the hottest days so far and no power...nada!

I must go away for the afternoon (not sitting in hot stuffy house all day ) try not to miss me too much
