hi Tenny - how is Mom today? Did you fess up about the speeding ticket?

I think it was 70ish here today...can't believe this weather.

I am good...just finished dinnah. I made Maria an official "country cookin" meal tonite. Made chicken fried steak, fried okra, mashed potatoes, and green bean cass., gravy and rolls.

Yeah, I told Tim about the ticket right away, would never lie about stuff like that. I think in the almost 10 years we've been married, this is my 3rd ticket, 2nd for speeding. He never gives me a hard time, he just said "bummer".....BUT JUST LET ME SAY THIS!!!...when I was taking sl to school, the place where I got the ticket is this really long straight bridge, which, it is SOOOO hard not to speed down...but I digress...the school is right after the bridge. ANYHOOO!!!! this morning, I went 40 in case they were there again, and people just about ran me over!!!!! AND WAIT...there's more whining....before I even got to the bridge, I passed a school zone, and there was a cop that just sped right thru it!!!!! ...then on the way home from picking her up....everyone practically ran me over again, and gave me the "stupid woman driver" look ...NOT ONLY THAT....but once AGAIN, there was a cop going over the SAME BRIDGE....at at least 70!! Now I ASK YOU...how fair is that???

That is too bad! An 11 yr old girl was killed here last week. She was hit in a school zone, while crossing a cross walk, with a crossing guard that had a sign. She was walking her sister across the street and was hit by a woman that was driving a Lexus and talking on her cell phone. She was said to be going 50 mph through a 15mph school zone. Hopefully that lady is going to prison for a while. The woman is the wife of a wealthy executive in Boca.

We have stayed here - its purty nice since they renovated. Of course, you manly men don't need the spa passes but Cheri, RJ and Myself are definitely interested!!

I am sooo sorry, that is sad. And I do want to say for the record that I ALWAYS go 20 in the school zone. I never speed thru them. I mean that's no excuse for speeding on the bridge....but I do respect school zones.
