ok..maybe I am wrong ( I usually am ) but I read it that she doesn't want presents....but, if you feel like you MUST give something, donate to his college fund...ok..weird, but better than jut asking for cash

Maybe it just something she wrote for family members that would feel the need to buy Jonhnny something.....

luckey - so Cassie is gonna be in Anaheim instead of San Diego? Do you know where yet. That's a beeg city now. And, it makes a Disney trip a necessity

Chris...Neil would like to know how flexible your work schedule is....He goes to SD at least once a month but, like Thursday, I did not even know until Wed. night. He would like to catch up with you there in SD but I guess wants to know how much advance notice you would need. He even said something about poker and golf. And wants to know if the Vegas trip is happening. Demanding isn't he...??

OK off to dinner with friends and wine. Cards or perhaps cribbage to follow. Finally de-christmased the house. Pretty darned excited about that.

Is anyone interested in Dizzyland (I like that Cheri) 3/24-3/27 ?? Or should I fly to Louisville and see my brother. Please someone meet me at D-land, please someone meet me at D-land

I could go see him at Spring Break time, when I definitely won't be going to Disneyland.

well.....since Saraloulou is still in the private school, and it doesn't start all official like until Aug/Septemby....maybe WE could make it....depends on 3 things: a: getting a cheap flight b: finding a Starwood/Westin/Sheraton hotel nearby that we can use points on. c: convincing Tim and Miss Judit to stay at home, so only 2 flights/meals/expenses.....how to do it...how to do it..


I kinda like the re-arranged smilies...


And speaking of school, had school fair...there are probably anywhere from 200-1000 applications for the 1st grade we want to send her to....found out today....27 SLOTS!!!!! ...Still gonna try of course, you never know.

Am very excited about the drum idea ...but here's the problemo...will be inviting this kid to Saralinda's party in October....us mom's have looooonnnnnggggg memories, am afraid of retaliation...what she might get Saralinda ...I have pretty much decided to get him something though, even if it's more tokens for Chuck E Cheese. Sorry ifin ya invite someone to a party, you get's what they give ya, no fair tellin a poor little 6 year old no presents.

Between weather/pms....have headache ...wacky wacky weather...hot/cold/hot/cold...slightly cold yesterday, supposed to be 80 tomm!!!! Good lordy loo January and 80 in the same sentence. Messin with me sinuses and stuff though.

Well...so far so good with Miss Judit's mother...whose name is Maria... ....how do you solve a problem like maria....how do you talk to someone who caint understand....mostly okay so far because I really have not had too much time to spend with her yet. We got up to go to the school fair, when we got home, they weren't here, they had gone to the park. Got home, Judit and Maria went out again somewhere...now they are out again. One of the aupairs is leaving soon, and they went to her going away party. She's extremely nice though, she bought us all presents from home. Miss Judit says they have plans for tomm. as well after church. Probably will not have to really interact too much ifin this keeps up. I am letting Miss Judit use some of her vacation time next week, so she will probably be gone alot since she is not working. Wouldn't have made her work today ifin the school fair had not been so moocho mucho importante, and it was only for 2 hours.

We're still undecided as to which competetion she will do , but I do know Anehiem is at Anaheim Ice off Katella (or was it Magnolia ?) right in down town Anaheim (about 5 minutes away from Dizzyland!). That's Feb 17 - 19. Or it's the Cal State Games at the San Diego ice arena ( Off Mira Mesa ) in March ( 3rd & 4th). My vote is for Cal State Games but I'm in the minority.

Tenor, as for the drum set ... when mommy dearest brings Saralinda her gift (and she will remember the drums, you are right), just quietly remove it to the bedroom if the party is at home or some other spot if it's not. We don't open gifts at parties 'cuz it cuts outs "ooh I want that", "I want to play with that", etc. The kids just want the cake and goodie bags anyways. Then you write the thank you card mentioning how much she enjoys serenading the family with her trumpet. - just a thought.

No one here to play so I'll just go watch the Nick movie Drake and Josh go to Hollywood. A fine cinematic achievement sure to corner the Oscar nominations .... who puts up the $$$ to make this drivel?

nice kitchen, Bets. I poked around a bit and found that the eggs hatch into things like cute little kittys and ... feet (???) but they can evolve into other things. OK, somebody has way too much time on their hands - better than writing viruses I guess.


Off to take Cassie to Legoland. Timmy is at - yup, no kidding, can you believe I didn't go, he's there without me - D I S N E Y L A N D me wanna go too. Somebody git down here and go with me. Come play with Cheri. I'll buy you a $4 diet Coke. (You'll have to git yur own $8 chicken sammy)
