we really need to enter a 12 step program...our phone calls and posting to ourselves is getting beyond abnormal...or as Marty Feldman would say "Abby Normal"

 I am clearly not interested in being "normal". There is no such thing as "normal"....only common. I don't intend on being either :rotfl2:

One more thing...

Anybody ever "rented" DVC points to go to WDW? And Betsy, yes, we know, you live there and you can go whenever you want! ;)

Where is the Great Stone Dragon?? I have DVC questions!!

we used our points for the cruise, i will try to answer you questions

Bets,

Looks nice. Only thing is, you gotta get that wine bottle off the stove. Good Wine + Heat = Bad Wine. I learned that in math class. :teacher:

That is a bottle my neighbors brought to us on New Years...It is a Cabernet and that isn't my stuff...but, take heart...the stove is not on (the bag next to it is chocolate) and all the good wine is in the cooler!

Well, ya know, any wine that is not gonna get consumed at your house can always be shipped to my house for immediate consumption :rolleyes1 You can ship it at the same time you ship your SS present, if you haven't already :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Oh, and throw some of that there choco-latey stuff in the box while you're at it. I know, I know, them there's fightin' words!!

hey!! That's a great idea!!!!
Who told you I was your SS??? I was going to call Cheri yesterday and grovel, but she didn't answer!
ok...Wine *check*
Chocolate coffee beans*check*

I TOLD you I sucked at SS!!!

T&P:
Ah, so you bought DVC prior to the cruise...I thought you bought on the cruise....Anyhoo, I was just wondering if it seemed like a good idea to rent somebody elses points to do WDW. Since DH definitely not interested in talking about buying into DVC right now. But DAMB it's expensive to even think about going down to WDW!! It's cheaper to pay for any of the All-Star resorts than even rent points but those resorts seem so far away from everything? :confused3 Oh I don't know. Gotsta call SueEllen I guess. Just seems to me I could spend $2-3K on another cruise and go to Disneyland twice and never be frustrated trying to plan to see everything at WDW. :guilty: :confused3 But my main question was, has anyone ever done it - renting points I mean (get your mind outta the gutter Betsy!)

It seems overwhelming to me. Gotta get my hands on that planning DVD!!

And people complain about Disneyland being expensive. Makes me wanna go to Disneyland even more...

RJ can I get an amen!!:worship:

Beano: Ryan says hi and to let you know each night when the sun sets she thinks of you and sings "When the Sun goes Down".

Ain't she sweet!? :lovestruc

Johnna...talk to Tim...he says it is cheaper to rent points than to use points on a cruise..or somethin like that..I don't know..when he talks DVC, I get glazed over look

Do you know where Redding is?? Are you close to there or Campbell?

um....Bets....why do you wanna know this?? huh? Huh? HUH? why do you wanna know??

:confused3 :confused3 :confused3

Johnna - That is VERY sweet!

You give Ryan big 'ol hugs 'n squeezes from Mr. Beano!! :teeth:

Yes, D'Land with our friends is a definite possibility this summer. We are kinda thinkin' about Disneyland and then a Carnival cruise. Hey - according to the websites I've seen, the "suites" on Carnival can accomodate - get this - "Up to two people!!" I kid you not. That is what they say!!

So, I am having trouble figuring out why a family of 4 can't seem to stay in a suite together on Carnival, and how exactly families are supposed to sail on these ships. But, to put it in perspective, The Walt Disney Suite is nearly 1100 sq. ft.; Carnival's "suites" are 275 sq. ft.

How totally 'ghetto'. :rotfl:

So, it certainly ain't like going on "my" Magic, but if they can find a room big enough to squeeze all 4 of us into, we might still do it after a D'Land trip.

P.S. - Carnival's website proudly states that their staterooms are, on average, "50 percent larger than other cruise ships".

HUH??? :confused3

I am so confused!
