Hullow out there .....echo echo echo I'm baaaaaaaack! What d'ya all do? Run for cover, afraid of bad vacation pictures? :rotfl2: Love to bore you with them - 'cept someone forgot to pack the camera ...ok me... Snow in Telluride was fabulous ( :cold: than a witches ***) . I had to constantly decide whether to be frightened or proud of a certain 7 year-old as she insisted on pointing her skis straight down the hill mach 2 "turn Cassie, turning would be good!". Did spend a few hours waiting to hear from DH in doctor's office suffering from acute altitude sickness. remember same DH went to the hospital 2 days before cruising? do we know how to vacation or what? That's it in a nutshell. Great skiing. Next time have to spend more time so H can get acclimated.

Gotta go catch up on all these posts! My, my you been busy peeps!

Happy New Year everyone!!!!!

Welcom back Cheri ! I hope Chris is ok. Not sure where everyone else went to. Maybe they're all on thier way to Dallas to suprise Tenor for her birthday.

OMG THAT WOULD BE GREAT!!!!!...highly doubtful though....definately cool though. Can't think of any other peeps I would rather hang with.....

Still at loss of what to get the hubster for his birthday next week....

OH THE PAIN AND AGONY OF IT ALL...that was the Cowboy game last night. It was just sad, and almost painful to watch...Bledsoe sackarooski time and time again....bye bye season, bye bye.

Have I mentioned that Miss Judit's mom is coming down to visit from Hungary for 12 days this Friday??????? Have I mentioned the house is a wreck????? Have I mentioned that she might take one look at us, and take her daughter back right away??????? Have I mentioned that I do not think her mother speaks one lick of English????? Have I mentioned that this will be very...uhhh....interesting for us all????? Have I mentioned, that I do not know one lick of Hungarian?????? Have I mentioned I will have someone in my house for 12 days that I can't communicate with???? Have I mentioned that I feel the men in white coats are just getting ever so close day by day????? Have I mentioned that I am feeling extrememly old?????

Tenor,

Why not go to the bookstore and git yurself a Hungarian tape or book. It would prolly be nice fer ya' to say hello in Miss Judit's native tongue. At least it would show that you tried :rolleyes1 (Hungarian, hmmm...not too many peeps actually speak that me thinks)

Just a thought :goodvibes

Tenor repeat after me Goulash.......

Just show her some of that southern hospitality and everything will be fine !

And old your not old cause if you are than I'm even older.

... breathe in ... slowly let it out ... breathe in ... slow-listen! Stop running in circles! ( :love2: you know I luvs ya) She's prolly much more nervous than you are. Remember that to her your house is going to be a palace. Take RJ's advice and go git yursef a tape (so you can hear the pronun, promoun , so you can hear how it's supposed to sound) and then ...breathe in ... slowly let it out...

Oh, and uh, when you see those men in white coats: hold dead still. Maybe if you don't move, they won't be able to see you. Works for me everytime :rolleyes1 the older you get, the easier it is to hold really still, right Beano?

luckey - Chris is all better now that he is at sea level. Thanks for asking.

Thanks for the Chrismas card, Johnna. Glad to know the gremlins have found a new home (sorry it has to be yours - but they have to terrorize someone ).

Speaking of Christmas cards: we received so many cute one from the Magic. Question: did all y'all just deal with the long lines for pictures, is there a magic time to go when there is no one around, or is there some secret???? Got's to know for next time (ya' know, the reunion cruise :teeth: )

One more thing:THE KIDS GO BACK TO SCHOOL TOMORROW! :cheer2: :Pinkbounc  :hyper:

:umbrella: :umbrella: :umbrella:

California isn't so sunny right now....we've had nuthin' but rain for the last 2 days. Thought we might have to think about building an ark :rotfl2:

Hope warmer weather will soon come your way Sean & Linda :sunny:

I am in H E double Hockey sticks!!! Kate has lice....I may douse her in kerosene and make her sleep with the dog!!

No one in my family has ever had lice...this is so gross...my peditrician told me " well the good news is that she is very clean, cause they only are attracted to clean hair" ....Gee...thanks...that make me feel soooooo much better,....like saying "Hey, you only have 6 months to live, but it's better than 6 days"

GAG!!!

HELP!!!!

SEND BOOZE

AND CHOCOLATE!!

Oh, you should just see how still some of the old peeps I work with are!!

Sorry Bets, I feel your pain.

Being the (past) preschool teacher that I was....I remember all too well looking through my students hair on a weekly basis. And yes, we did find lice too often.... :scared:

Just buy the shampoo and comb. Follow directions....it'll be fine. It by no means has anything to do with the way your house is kept or the manner in which you treat your child.

Remember, sip the wine.....don't "chug" it! :rotfl2:

Hey All,

Weeeeerrrrrreeeee Baaaacccckkkkk!!! Thought you'd gotten rid of us didnya? HA! No such luck.

Anyway, Happy Belated Christmas and Merry Belated New Year to all of you (or "all y'all" as Sue Ellen might say). Hope ya had a nice holiday.

Speakin' of trips to Vegas; I have been having a serious hankerin' for a nice long gambling weekend!!
Hey Beano, if'n you need a gamblin' buddy, you have my cell phone number!!!! Vegas gets my vote. It's kinda like being on the Magic in the middle of the desert. Except for the floaty part. And no characters. And the waiters don't make unnatural sounds with their lips. And....oh, heck, I guess it's not really like the Magic at all. Still, I prefer it to Reno.

Hey y'all!!

We're back too! Ok was lurkin' yesterday...

Bets...sorry to hear about the infestation. I would say we've never experienced lice but that would be like jinxing myself.

ANYBODY WANT A HOB NOB!!??

Been running errands. Funny...when you aren't at home for 2 weeks...there is no food in refrigerator....hhhmmm... darn Cheri's gremlins!

Beano and Chris: Neil says two words (well he really knows more than than but you know what I mean) LAS VEGAS!!

RJ: Spent a very rain soaked time at the ranch. So did not call you. Nuthin' to do in the rain. So we must plan another time. Yes, yes, plan we must.

Cheri: Glad you had fun in Telluride. I wanna take Ryan skiing this year. She is skeptical.

Bets: Planning WDW now for end of Nov-Dec 2006. Cruise dates just aren't gonna work. So...WDW seems pretty overwhelming. Where do I start?

RJ: Disneyland....March 24-27 Your kids off school?

OK- must switch laundry and find my diet coke.

Talk to you later.

Get SueEllen to give you a quote...I HIGHLY suggest the Wilderness Lodge or Yacht Club...the pool at the YC is the best..hands down, but Rick and I are huge Arts and Craft fans and the WL is alot like the Grand Californian...

hold on...someone is yelling for a towel

:wave2: Johnna

Stupid rain :umbrella: didn't it know we were supposed to shop...geez :rolleyes1

March 24-27....why would kids be outta school :confused3

As for resorts to stay at in WDW....what kinda place do you like?? The Polynesian is our fav...sorry Bets, we hate the Yacht Club. Wilderness Lodge is nice though

see..I wasn't impressed with the Poly...it smelled damp to me...I was happy to be on the monorail, but the WL is my fav...We stayed at the YC when I was pregnant and this summer for the pool and the closeness to Epcot

Lotsa wind and water damage around Tracy. We got 2 inches New Years Day at the ranch. Tracy got 1.5 inches yesterday. Done I say. Done with the rain!! :umbrella:

Don't know why...but our school is out those days. Teachers need a break day or something. "Staff Developement Day" officially. I say its a mental health day. Disneyland it must be!!

As for resorts...I dunno! :confused3 It seems easiest to me to look at what parks we really want to tackle and pick a resort in that area. But man, when I went online and priced a package!! Cruising is more affordable. pirate: OK not really....but I really liked the cruise.

Being an original park lover...will I love WDW?

CAN"T A GIRL GET A TOWEL AROUND HERE!!?!!

And warm it up while you are at it. It's a bit chilly in here! ;)

E-mailed SueEllen - she suggested I get the DVD - so I requested that. I am sure she will work a great package up. Probably call her since Ryan and I will be needed more days on our tickets than Neil since he has to work. (insert evil laugh here)

I was thinking WL but we'll see. I just got the Discover Card bill!! :earseek: :faint:

You guys are gonna have to come bust me out!! :rotfl2: You know when the envelope has extra postage you are in for it!! :rotfl: Must hide from hubbie, must hide from hubbie....

Hey RJ can I stay at your place for a few weeks!? :rotfl:

Step #1 - Get on hands and knees
Step #2 - Tape Credit card bill to back
Step #3 - have hubby review it........

No more credit card problem!
