okay, I need a massage!!! I have been sitting on the floor for over an hour sorting out all the candy and making up 50 little gift sacks, and now my back herts!!! But...it is done, put them all in a bigger sack.....and they are packed!!!!! I just know that I will forget something...despite the fact I started packing a month ago...

Beano: Yeah...I should have known it would not be free. Do you think I should go, given I can't drink the wine?? Is it still worth it? Should I try and find a costume, or risk the streaking thing? Have you got your docs yet?

yes, YES!!!!! yes, yes, yes, yes, yes!!!!!! Have it booked...didn't see the egg thing on there to book it, guess you can't. I did the egg thingie myself the last time I was on the Magic, and yes....you guessed it....it was LIKE BUTTAH!!!!!! I was out like a light!!!!! I tell ya, ifin I had that thing here at the house...I wouldn't have any more of that there insomnia.....hummmmm how to talk DH into buying me a 5-8 thousand dollar egg.........

I'm not trying to be Martha by any stretch..... Trust me on this, I don't know Martha Stewart, I didn't go to school with Martha Stewart, Martha Stewart is not my friend, and I maam, am NO Martha Stewart....just wanted to do it, so I wouldn't have to spend the time there doing it. I am sure if you want to just buy a big bag and toss them in a bowl and hand them out willy nilly, that is okay too. This way, everyone got the same amount, and I knew I had bought enough. Was slightly more time consuming than I thought it would be. I got the bags at CVS Pharmacy, for I think .99 cents for 40 of them, and I got 2 lots, and I rummaged thru my kitchen drawers until I found a boatload of unused trash sack ties, and I used those, very tacky, but I can always undo them before I hand them out. I only tied them because I did not want them all to come out and mingle with one another....spreading those terrible candy body fluids......OH THE HORROR

does everyone have a lanyard? they are , like, $1 a piece at Office Depot - gotta hang those nametags somewheres, else we gotta staple them to the foreheads. [Cheri thinking, which has been known to be hazardous to those around her]

The egg slightly massages you and you put on earphone with soothing tunes, and you have a sleep mask on, and they have a system where it can put out smells or not....and it messes with your beta or alpha waves.....lulls you into a restful sleep and 15 minutes or so in the capsule is suppose to be the equal to 3-5 or sumpin like that hours of sleep

Tenor all alone. Can't go to bed. Saralinda lost her 2nd tooth today, and I must play tooth fairy, but she keeps GETTING UP!!!!!!!!! Now I gotta wait until she is good and asleep......just my luck.....finally a night I am sleepy, and I gotta stay up!!!!! Tim stayed up and did it (the tooth fairy bit I mean ) about 2-3 in the morning last week when she lost her other one, so this time, it's my turn.......

We have our last show tomm. for our Dallas Summer Musical's season tickets. It's Wicked. Has anyone seen it???? Then Sunday the Cowboy game. Not sure how that one will go....

I find it ironic that DS is the one who needed to be up early, so he could get ready for a band review. And yet, here I sit while he is still laying in bed some 45 minutes later!!! UGH!!!

Haven't been on for a few days and just can't keep up.

Tell me about it...I'm still 30 pages behind

Been busy with DS over the past few days. He's Bipolar/ADHD and, even though the medication he is on works so well that you usually can't tell him apart from any other child his age, he still has his down periods...and he hit one a few days ago They adjusted his dosage and all seems to be getting better...he's been doing so good the past few months that we haven't really worried about how he's going to be on this vacation, so this kind of pulled us down a little bit.

Sorry...needed to vent a little bit, and this being such a great group I thought you wouldn't mind

This weekend is going to be hectic...I still have so much to get in order and DS still needs several things before we go (dress shirt, tie, shoes, etc...)

Can someone answer a question for me? I know that at CC a child has to be 5 in order to rent snorkel equipment, but can we bring our own for DS and still have him snorkel around the beach with us since he's only 4?

Sarah - No, we certainly don't mind if you vent. We gots kids, too, and ain't none of 'em perfect! DW is a former preschool teacher, something I would NEVER have the patience for. (My clientele are MUCH calmer). So vent away!

Cheri - Yes it's true, we can still get to the bar and the dining rooms quite fast for geezers! Won't these young'uns just faint if there's a Beano sighting at the gym? (I did say IF!)
