if we do go to Costa Maya, can people give me an idea of their (tentative) plan to book with David & Ivan, which tour, and how many adults/children in your group? If I can give them some idea of numbers, I can ask the questions about deposits and being picked up at port that Woody suggested. Thanks everyone.

Just wanted to put our names down on the list for the tour in Costa Maya.
We would be looking at doing the 4 hour tour to the ruins (Chocchoben - spelling wrong I'm sure) and the school visit. There are 6 of us and we are all classes as adults. Thanks so much for doing this - you are a star!

I think you might find the magnet graphics on this thread on the main cruise board, I don't recall any being posted on here, but I may be wrong. I know what you mean about wanting to get things done, I still have pirate costumes and halloween costumes to make (not to mention finishing the fish extenders and making some door magnets, T-shirts etc etc etc) and time is ticking away - I almost feel that I need my countdown ticker to go backwards for a while to give me some catch up time!

Thanks so much for your help! Time is going by way too fast now. Kind of funny if you think about it, before it was going too slow now too fast. I guess there is just no happy medium for me.

for those of you who have kept my uncle Eddie in their thoughts and prayers....the prayers have worked! he just got out of MAJOR surgery to remove the mass in his lungs yesterday, they also removed his lymph nodes. His previous Dr.'s said he was inoperable and to go home have a beer and go fishing and that he had cancer and maybe and a few weeks to live! well he decided to get a 2nd opinion and went the Moffit center in Tampa, FL and well after the surgery they informed us that the mass is NOT cancer but a massive infection, same news for the lymph nodes. PHEW what a relief! every thing is looking SOOO much better. thank you all for you prayers!

Iwas just in Vero last weekend. At my trainer's place. I had grouper sandwich at the Red Onion omg was that good.

Its been awhile...trying to read the past pages and catch up.

Life has been crazy here. I had a nurse resign. Any nurse need a job? I have been having to work some open shifts. My company doesn't believe in using agency. They would rather reward their own employees than pay agency prices. But that means if there are open shifts I work them and do my other job as well.

Welcome to all the new cruisers. Boy this group is getting large. More the merrier right!

My DD will be 9 ATC. She is emailing another cruiser now and would love another email buddy (what do you call a modern day penpal?)

Thanks for all the info on the excursions. I would love to join in on the tour Valerie. Do you need a list of participants now or closer? I will have to do a little more research on all the info you guys provided.

I had suggested name tags for the dis meet the last time I was on chat night. Any one have comments or ideas on that?

Hello everyone! We just got back from our "schools out" WDW trip. We had a great time and now I'm ready to start planning this trip.

This will be our 2nd Disney cruise. We did the 7 day Eastern in May, 2006. I'm sad because my friend Trish & family (you might know her for the boards) from WA can't make the trip now. So it will be my daughter (9) and myself. Any other single Mom's out there???

Sorry I missed you, I was in the chat room up until about 23.15 (our time), 18:15 (your time - I think) chatting to Andy (HelenSB's DH) about how quickly this cruise is creeping up on us and how little time we actually have to do what we have to do! I can see me doing my usual "last minute panic" routine and I really wanted to be chilled out with my preparations for this vacation - can any seasoned cruisers out there offer any tips re. how to stay relaxed and organised and de-stressed in the last few months!

I want to go light but I also dont want to forget anything. I am so lost when it comes to packing. This is our first cruise with the girls and having to pack costumes and stuff I am worried we are going to either pack our bags so they are over the 50lb mark or I am just going to forget stuff. Could someone give me some advice? Please

I know what you mean - I am really worried about packing - packing too much or not packing enough! I am also having real shoe issues!

I am trying to buy items which mix and match, but I am finding it difficult. I am planning on 4 suitcases between 6 people and another case for the costumes - making it 5 in total, and if I can get it down below that I will be both amazed and pleased! Any packing tips would be really useful. Thanks.
