Our new puppy- also named Max is adjusting well. If I can figure out how to post a picture, I will get one on the boards. Unfortunately he is just a puppy with lots of potty training issues and nipping issues- we have a long road ahead. The other Max probably has all those issues under control! I am so happy you were able to rescue a dog!

Our next goal has been accomplished! WE HAVE AIRLINE TICKETS! Wish we would have booked earlier but I dont see any decreases in prices coming anytime soon with the price of gas. Now all we need to finalize is our Palo reservations and rental car!

One thing we found that saved us when we first had our dear little dog (he's been gone for 4 years now) are Wee-wee pads! The vet told us about them. You put them where you want them to "go" then you start moving them closer to the door. They have a scent in them to attract to the pad. As you get closer to the door, place the old "used" pad outside so that they smell their own scent. Same with any "accidents" that happen in the house (placing them outside, that is!).

Suziemva- thanks for the potty training tip. We will have to try that. He has been spending a lot of time outside with us but that doesnt stop him from going inside as well

LetsGoSteelers- We did last night through Northwest Airlines. I know several others on this thread have made flight reservations as well. Some airlines may not have posted their November schedules yet.

We went ahead with ours because with Northwest merging with Delta, they may reduce their flights and we wanted to make sure that we werent squeezed out of an available flight to Orlando. If they happen to merge their flights, we will hopefully be one of the first they contact to keep on the possible downsized flights.

Jackie, I was up then too (I guess it was 12:30 am by the looks of your post) but it was the darkest night. Ameera was having nightmares again and was taking forever to get back down. We have hardwood floors in our house and they just squeak too much!!!! I'm gonna try to get them cleaned today with my Floormate and hope that will stop the squeak.

Anyway, hope you enjoyed the sunset but get better sleep tonight.

We stayed at Disney last weekend (Coronado Springs) for a pin event and had a really great time. We are suppose to go to Venice beach to visit with some friends this weekend. We are just way to busy!!!!!!!!!!!!
