Mickey's Philamagic - Warning, my 6 year old finds all 3d shows too loud. She doesn't get scared easily but the 3d shows really bug her. She's seen them all, many of them more than once. She goes back and says I'm a year older it might be better and it is, but she will not do anymore after that.

I have read here other parents saying the same thing. Its a great show and very funny and cute. Definetly try it out. We don't leave when my DD gets upset, she just covers her ears and if the 3D freaks her out she puts her head down on my lap.

Its a Bug Life 3D show at Animal Kingdom however is scarier. Its not as young kid friendly. There are bugs .....enough said! But both of my kids have seen it more than once but its not a favorite.

We usually save Philamagic for near midday because its cooler and usually there isn't a wait and when there is, its inside. We usually have FastPassed something else and then ride it.

In ToonTown there are picture oportunities in the store there. You can get in different lines and see up to 3 characters at once. We always do this and just get in the shortest line.

Great place to see Pooh and the gang is at the Animal Kingdom on the way into Dinoland. Its on your right and often there is not a long line.

Saying good-bye. I went and canceled my reservation since we look to be moving. Gonna miss everyone here but will still be around lurking on the boards. If everything goes as planned we will be living around Lakeland, Fl. Keep your fingers crossed for me on my interview Tuesday.

We are non-smokers, easy going, people seem to think we're pretty good company until they realize we owe them money, and we would LOVE to join you in a cocktail or two at the end of the day!
We'd be interested in the ruins too. :-)

Hey - it's not April 1st again is it?

Only kidding - so sorry to hear that you won't be joining us after all. I am sending you loads of :wizard: for your interview on Tuesday! I'm sure it will go well. I am very jealous of you moving to Florida - that would be a dream come true for me!:cloud9: Hope all goes well and maybe we will end up cruising with you again in the future!

I'll PM you when things aren't so hectic. Or, you PM me.

I'm only over by Tampa, close to Lakeland.

We can meet up over at WDW!!

Sorry you aren't going on the cruise.

Congratulations on the move to Florida!

I work tonight and tomorrow night, then we leave for a week at Pop Century with dining plan et al on Sunday afternoon.

No internet next week for me.

Will check Friday when we get home.

Have a great weekend!

You know i gotta say, even though some days i forget..........

I am sooo blessed to live in this beautiful part of this state and to be able to take advantage of it.

We just got back from about a 3 hour outing which included taking our mottorcycle down to the OCEAN and driving by ALL the TOURISTS spots and creeping in to this little place along the harbour, sat outside and had a WONDERFUl dinner with the company of my WONDERFUl DH!

SUN SHINING on our faces...(MAYBE A BIT TOO MUCH ON MY ONE ARM ouch)
watching the HUGE and i mean HUGE fish the servers were feeding fish scraps too and the pelicans, wishing we were rich enough to have one of the yachts and hoping back on our bike to be HOME!!!!!!!!!

WOW, yes very blessed!

Hey everyone... we were on early in this thread, but need to rejoin.... This is our third and probably the third of many..

We're Jenny, Ben and Lily (DD 5) and we'll be on 7th floor.

Anyone else from Wisconsin going with us? Maybe northern Illinois?

We'd love to hookup!

Ben

Just sitting here, enjoying my sake-tini, waiting until the girls go to bed so my DH and I can groove on Battlestar Gallactica...he has made me such a geek too! Any BSG fans out there?

Hey, where in the thread was the post about when we can start making shipboard ressies?

Hope you all have a good night! I'm going to try to check in for chat tomorrow.

Cheers!
Laurel (way out here in California)

SHYLA! How are you?! We sure wish you were going to be on this cruise with us!

Seriously Folks, these two people would be who I would choose to be caught on a deserted island with....
Hmm... and we thought you two were the smart ones! If you were stuck on a deserted island, you wouldn't want to be with us! You'd want to be with MacGuyver! He can make a cell phone out of a coconut and get you outta there! :)

Suzie! We love the shirts! They came this morning and the Pirate already had his on! I had to take it off him before he dribbled coffee all over the front! I'll send a check (for Tori to play with as it bounces along...). :) They are very cool!

Shrpgrl, you will have no problem getting a job, with this nursing shortage. Esp in FL. Don't cancel the cruise! Put that sign-on bonus to work and get your behind back on board!

Dizzi, you ole April Fool, your time is coming. Just you wait.... :)

Michelle9343, how's Angelina? Cellulitis can be so nasty.

Laurelk Sake-tini! Ooohhh!!! We are definitely hanging around you! Sake-tini!!!!!

So if we dont stay onsite and we make an 8am reservation at The Castle for breakfast, what is the protocol for the park letting us in? Can we park in the MK parking lot that early?

Weve done the crystal palace breakfast often staying off site, drive in as usual dont get lost as we did :lmao: the carpark is empty, and you have to follow hundreds of bollards, the parking is nearly at the entrance great for when you leave !have fun.

Hey everyone!

We're trying to get our niece and nephew-in-law, and my sister and brother-in-law to go with us on this cruise.

The former are in their twenty-somethings, and the latter are nearing 50 and are empty nesters.

Having been on the cruise twice now, I can personally describe the stuff there is to do for adults only in terms of heart-pumping activities, excursions and adults only areas, but I want to show them on sites, etc.

The new podcasts that I'm seeing on the disneycruise site is pretty good, but it only talks about the "after 9" activities and the spa. There's nothing that is specifically geared to the "what if I'm travelling without children" element.

Any ideas?

Ben, Jenny and Lily (DD 5)

Hey gang... i might have to retract my last post!

I'm not seeing this cruise even listed as available any more on the Disney Cruise site?

You actually have to go to a secondary page and pick the special cruise nights - 7 night Western to Costa Maya. There's still availability for the cruise there - just checked. Good luck!
