Did just register on the private group site. Having trouble posting. Was only able to post in the Moonie section. Wanted to register in roll call and early dining sections. The "post" icon must be there, but it has been a long week at work...

I am having trouble as well. I know the passwords to get into the system and it comes up to the home page but whenever I try to respond to anything it asks for a user name and password and nothing works. It also does this when I try to get into the chat room!

Woo hooo....
I know it is a little early, but I had the tax refund and decided that paying it off was the right thing to do! I know, I know....I could have let the money earn interest, but then there was the chance of spending it! Now all the money I save is for Palos and the Spa! Plus...we got a suprise refund from the county today on our property taxes...didn't even know it was coming. I think it is enough for one of those fancy ancy couples spa packages!

You guys are so funny! I missed the chats this week. Life has been so crazy here. We have another darn snow storm heading our way on Tuesday, I'm ready to move somewhere warm at this point. Is it almost cruise time?!?!?!?!

Good Sunday morning everyone!!!

We had to go to the mall last night because dd got a gift card to Build a bear which happens to be right across from the Disney Store.

We ended up getting a couple of their 2 for 20 shirts and I got the new pink POTC shirt. I also picked up new POTC shirts for dh and ds. As much as I'd like to get all dressed up there is no way I'd ever talk dh into anything but a pirate shirt and bandana.

We have a friend who works at the Disney store and she told one of her co-workers that I've been on the cruise since she is doing her Disneymoon on the Wonder next year. Can't believe I never mentioned the Dis to her. Will definitely write it down next time and get it to her. How can you cruise without coming here first. Duh????

I paid off our 6 days, 5 nights at Pop Century yesterday. I'm really begging dh to add one more day since that only makes since. We will get off on Friday and be raring to go by then since we usually drive through the night . But our check in at pop is on Sunday not Saturday. I've dropped hints that this is the only present for my birthday and mothers day that is acceptable. I might have to turn on the but I doubt it. I work in a tax office and as I get more stressed out and point out what kinda bonus I'm getting he usually agrees to whatever I want.

Boy am I glad he doesn't read disboards.

Congrats disneybride on paying your trip off early. It just makes you feel better once it's paid for. Then all you have to do is come her and plan plan plan. Oh and then pack of course.

I really enjoyed our Thursday night chat. I have a personal training session this Thursday at 6:00 and then a 4H meeting so I definitely won't make it until Saturday this week.

Karen - I was looking at those 2 for $20 shirts on the website - I picked out the pink POTC one for me, and a great POTC one for DH and DS and a NBC one for DS also, then I priced up the postage to the Uk - which was more than the shirts cost! So i passed on that one - but I'm feeling a trip to the Disney store coming on the day before we cruise!

Here in the UK we have Disney Store but a LOT more expensive - one T-shirt is between £15-£20 ($30-$40). We never get any bargains in there! That 2 for $20 is amazing - I so need to live in USA!

Another great shop the kids like is Hot Topic, and the T-shirts are also very reasonable in there - wehave nothing like that over here, and the postage is just too much to benefit from the great offers.

I got caught with the customs last time I ordered from them so had to pay another €20 plus some of the stuff was was the wrong size , my fault , not worth sending back , so for last years cruise I ordered everything for pritaes night and got it shiped to the boat, was waiting for us in our stateroom after dinner

This is the one for Two Palms. If you look back at past pictures for Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, you can see the Wonder and the Magic as they pass. Trying to catch them "live" is a challenge - I was ridiculously excited the first time I was able to do it! I actually have the picture from our first cruise saved as my deskttop.

Me again. TotallyAngelic - can you update the fish extender list to include the name of my kids - Alex (male - 11) and Adam (male - 9).

I also promised you the recipe for my homemade pancakes...

1 - 2 tbsp. oil
1 - 2 eggs
3/4 cup of milk (I usually add a little more because I find the batter thick)
1 cup flour
dash of salt
1 tbsp. sugar
1 - 2 tbsp. baking powder.

I'll add blueberries or chocolate chips, depends on what the kids or I want. DH likes them plain. And of course on pancake night money and other little things might get added! But won't add buttons anymore - they melted this year! DS9 kept saying he might not be around much longer because of the toxic poisoning

Thanks Valerie for the recipe and for the webcam links - it's amazing looking at the Magic coming in / going out (I'm not sure which). I will try and catch it live next Saturday - what time does she tend to pass the webcam?

Thanks also Jackie for a very good idea for Disney Store ordering - do you just put your cabin number and the Disney Magic as the address - thats amazing! It would save me a lot in postage, plus tax if I get rumbled (and I did once with a big hot topic order and had to pay an extra £30 - not impressed)

That book looks good - does it tell you any more than you can learn from the DIS and interrogating past cruisers though? I have registered on the Passporter website and signed up for the newsletter.

It was great chatting to everyone last night - but I am still tired today - I think an early night is in order - diet starts tomorrow!
