Did you guys go to the VERO BEACH resort????

Dh and i are going to try and go this summer if we have not waited to long to make the reservation!

We ae going to try and use our DVC points.

But we may have to resort to soemthing at Disney orlnndo this year while we are still learning how to use our points.

No this was taken at the beach RIGHT NEXT to the resort, its called Wabasso beach. We live next to the resort, kinda, like maye a couple miles.

taking another 5 minute break.

I am pressing myself to finish these curtains to day by midnight!!!!!

they had a lot of seaming and i wanted them to be VERY strait!
i have up 3 panels on my Large window and now working on the valance for the large window.

Then i just have a smaller version to do!
Now that i am in the groove i should finish in a couple hours.

HOPEFULLY MY HALLOWEEN COSTUMES DONT TAKE ME THIS LONG!
or i MAY NEED TO START THEM NOW!!!!!!!!!!

I am actually planning on going there after the cruise. Has anyone stayed at the Disney resort? From the website, it sounds like there are a lot of activities, but I'm curious to hear from someone who has been there.

I was thinking yesterday (never a good idea) after trawling Ebay looking for pirate costume ideas, that it might be easier to have a go at making them . I found a couple of patterns on Ebay, which look ideal, but I have never made a costume from a pattern before and I was wondering how difficult it actually is - usually I just make it up as I go along!

It seems like a good idea, and as I have 3 sets of female pirates and 3 sets of male pirates, I figure I would have the hang of it by the last costume!

Just in case you dont get our email,our modems given up so dont think we are going into hibernation.Poor Helen without her disney fix i think she will be getting withdrawal symptoms pretty quick. We are trying to get BT complete but who knows how long that will take,we let you know soon as.
Im fairly lucky at least i can log on at work during tea breaks or standeasy as Tony will recall. and we do get alot of standeasys. take care speak soon hopefully.

HI fellow cruisers!!!!! I have been MIA for a week and it took we a hour to catch up!!! We had a really busy week. My sis was in for NY and my daughter, Angelina, celebrated her 10th bday yesterday. On Sat we had a really special party for her and yesterday she went to the BBB at DTD and then we went over to MK. She has a lot of special friends on main street (esp Scoop SAnderson )and we were in the Family fun day parade. It was a fantastic day!!! I am not sure if I mentioned that Angelina is a mentally a phyically disabled little girl . She is mentally about equally to a 2 year old. She has had so many health issues that celebrating her 10th was HUGE to us !!!!
Also I would like to take part in the fish extender thingy

We are tring to get reservations for June 9-12 i dont know how we will fair out.
We tried to call DVC last night and they were already closed.
So we are going to try again to day.

if we get to go i will give a FULL REPORT!
It will just be me and Dh but i will check out the kids areas incase we want to go back with the kids at soem point!

I was on a break from moving furniture around in kids rooms.......
So i am going back at it.
