Both the reminderbands website and the 24hour wristbands sites ship internationally which is great for us UK cruisers, as we can order them all together and then post them on to each other. I will investigate any websites which make wristbands in the UK and work out the best deals.

I like the one where you can get the Disney font - I think it is the 24 hour wristbands, but both websites only give you 25 characters - and Halloween on the High Seas with spaces is 26 characters - perhaps if we ask they may squeeze another character in.

I like the idea of the bands. How about shortening to Halloween on High Seas - then it will fit.

I'm open for anything. I like the bands since we can wear them all week.

Also, on my first cruise I got sick when we first got on and I took a dramine pill and was fine in about 2 hrs. I dont know if that helps. If I were you I would have them take them when you first see the ship. My DD gets very motion sick and thats always what we do. We have her take it about an hour before we go.

I cant wait! is it October yet?!?!?!

Happy Birthday Helen, I hope it was a FANTASTIC ONE!!

Dizz, If you arrive early at port just give the kiddo's the pills then, they should have enough time to start working before we set sail, and YOU can start taking them a few days before. I know I am because they made me VERY CRANKY and tired the first couple of days, by the time I started to feel great the cruise was half over!!

I still like the idea of LIME GREEN shirts because it makes everyone SO EASY to spot in the VERY CROWDED TERMINAL. Lots of people wear black, orange,white t-shirts but LIME GREEEN?? you can almost be certain they are a DIS'er LOL. Here is a picture from last year. I think the logo would look great printed on the front and then we could still personalize the back. IF you look at the first picture my DD is wearing the lime green cruies bracelet

I had this ironed on to the back of our t-shirts ( printed inside mickey ears I ironed on first) I am looking for the picture but haven't found it yet.
The first one was on mine and the second was on DD and DH's

Those are GREAT shirts! Very nice and able to wear them after the cruise, too! Very cool!

Just a thought: I'm wondering if people would be acceptable to the shirts for the first day and the bracelets for the rest of the cruise (sorry, I don't wear the same shirt everyday - no one would want to be around me!!!) .....hmmmm...those are really cool shirts, Dreamcruiser! My only issue is getting one small enough for Ameera. She maybe 16 months old but is only wearing 9 months right now. SHe doesn't grow very fast so I know she won't be in a 2T size in October....I'll be lucky if she's out of 12 months!!!

I was amazed last cruise how many of the bracelets we saw in the port while waiting! They just seem to jump out being lime green! And it was really neat to see others while waiting to fill out the forms, etc. We had set up a picture area in our private site and a cabin form to see who was who and where they were. This way it wasn't common knowledge to everyone except those on the private site.

I just don't know how people cruise without getting on the boards first to meet others. Gotta be lonely not to know anyone else..... So glad we have these boards!

DreamCruiser100, I love the shirts. I think that is a great way to spot everyone the first day. I also think the bracelet things are a great idea for the rest of the cruise. As soon as someone decides what we are doing and where we are getting the stuff let me know. I will be away from the boards after friday for 9 days(my RCCL cruise with my mom). I will be happy to get away from the cold, even if it is only for a week.

Lokks like we have kids that are gonna be the same age during the cruise. My DD will be 11 in May and my DS will be 8 in September. We live an hour from the port, where abouts are you? we cant wait!

There are people on the main DIS cruise board who make fish extenders for other people - if you post on the thread for fish extenders someone will be able to tell you who to contact. They also come up on Ebay from time to time - search for hanging storage or something like that!
