Just checked for crowd levels around mid-October. For some reason, Monday the 20th is rated as a 7. Sunday is a 6, but the rest of the days before and after are low numbers?
Does anyone know of anything special that would make the crowd prediction that high?
Thanks in advance.:)

Just bumping this up to see if anyone has any ideas.
Our son is coming for just the day and wanted to go to Epcot for the Food and Wine festival. I know that can increase the crowds at Epcot, but just thought there must be something else going on.

I was hoping someone who knows the answer would answer you, Sandy! We'll be at MK on that day and I'm really hoping the crowds aren't too bad :scared1:

We'll be there starting on Oct 17th and the UG crowd calendar numbers have been like that for several months. Can't imagine why a 4 on Saturday and a 7 on Monday. Anybody know?

I was wondering the same thing since I'll be there that day too. Maybe it has something to do with MK having evening EMH that day.

Could it be the slated entertainment for Eat to the Beat? I don't know who Spyro Gyra is, but maybe people really like them? LOL. I checked the website and I don't see any special events on that day...

sorry if this is a silly question but where can i check these crowd levels? on a website? :confused3

You should be able to see a certain amount of time into the future on the calendar for free, after that it requires a subscription or copy of the book. :)

We'll be there that week because my family, who lives in Kentucky, have the week off. Well, my little brother. It is his fall break, and I think it is at the same time as Tennessee. That might have something to do with it. :confused3

ETA: Oops, I reread your post that the count is high just for Monday. I guess one day isn't so bad for a week. Happy traveling everyone!

WEll that explains it!! We love Spyro Gyra when we were in school - Jazz!

I will be there Oct 18-25 as well and was wondering the very same thing. It doesn't make any sense to me why a Monday would be higher than any other day---but I'm sure there is some facts behind it. It would be interesting to hear about crowd levels on the Monday prior--Columbus Day.

Could it be possible that they base the numbers on previous years and that weekend happend to be MLK weekend in the past?

Mike
