Parents, please remember these smoothies do not come with dinner. You have to pay for them separately. We were NOT told this on our first night of our last cruise....needless to say, we were taken aback...Luckily, Rob had to sign for them, so we knew to say no when they offered them the next night. We had them only as "special treats"....

I'm waiting a couple days on the weather to see if the trough starts to move out. It is looking like that, but will watch it and try to update on Sunday. It is still a week and a half out before we get to GC or Coz from then, so anything can happen.

As for storms, unless something just pops, the upper winds seem to be cutting off the tops of the storms so no development.

Poor cruisers on the Western this week may have rain in the Bahamas (Castaway) tomorrow.

Sure hope the High Pressure system moves down to the Gulf or the Low moves out.

Thanks for the mini-update, I'm looking forward to seeing what you you find on Sunday. That's going to really bite if those cruisers have rain on CC!

dilemma for us....
every cruise we have enjoyed the drive over the bridge the morning on cruise day, and seeing that ship for the first time. what a rush!!!
this year we are staying at the port for the first time and wont get to ride over that bridge cruise morning.
maybe robin and i will get up at 6 am and take the car for a little sightseeing tour before we return it to budget.

Back from the zoo and dealership.

I am beginning to wonder why we belong to the zoo. It is 45 minutes for us each way. Then we were only there for an hour. It was to darn hot. Another in the 90 degree day. We walked about half the zoo. A lot of the animals were not on exhibit. And they ones that were, were sound asleep. I did not even find it worth taking pictures today.


The dealership was a wasted trip. Don't get me wrong they fixed it, but all they had to do was turn the car on and off three times and it was fixed. Could you not tell me that 2 months ago when I called and asked if it was something I could do at home. They even told me that I could not go to the dealership near me, I had to go to the one we bought the van at. I am not out that way very much. I never even had to get out of my car.

I have been struggling to finish a request for a personal injury law firm (I hate loans to places like this - no offense to anyone who may be a lawyer in this industry) since yesterday and I can't seem to get motivated to finish it.

I just want to go home and pack; is that so wrong?

I've been wracking my brain for a cruise-theme for us...and I'm afraid that I'm failing miserably.

So far I've come up with Pinheads on Parade, which really only applies to Jason and me...and now that I think about it we weren't planning on having a parade while cruising so that really doesn't make any sense at all...

Cruisin' Caribbean Crazies seems a little forced...

I like Konked Kruisers a lot...but I wasn't sure how those of you of a non-alcoholic persuasion would feel about it...

Oh my...trying to be creative takes a lot out of a person. Anybody else have any ideas?
