Jay and I really like Perrier Jouet - it's the one that comes in the flower bottle. We've only had it a couple of times because it is a bit pricey but we thought it was quite good. No accounting for taste, huh?

Have you tried Rosa Regale? It's an Italian sparkling red wine from Banfi - light and fruity with a hint of sweetness; it was much better than I expected it to be and it's only about $20 per bottle.

I saved the PJ bottle though, it was very pretty

Wonder if it was tainted. Maybe it wasn't stored properly, like it got too hot somehwhere along the line. Sometimes champagne can taste yeasty, but it shouldn't taste like beer. I've only had the Perrier Jouet once--it was the 1996 vintage--and it was incredible--tasted like biting into a fresh green grape, but better!!

Hmmm, perhaps.
We had wondered too if it had gone bad somehow.

Guess I'll have to try it again sometime...............

Home from school and shopping finally. Well I have been home for awhile just trying to do some stuff around the house.

Her field day was super fun. It brought back memories of when I had field day. Her hot dog lunch was so gross. They for some reason could not cook the hot dogs. The grills were not warming up so her hot dog was cold. The juice boxes were hot. And the rice krispie treats melted.

After school we went shopping at Target and spent $103 on only 5 items. We got Kyle another x-mas gift, and a mickey x-mas calendar. I was so impressed.

We then went and bought back brakes for my van. So that is on the to do list in the next week or so.

After we got home I uploaded all the pictures from today and ordered them. I had another parent there ask me to take pictures of their kid also. We got Scott up so I could show him what we bought at Target. We have loaded my van up for the last garage sale tomorrow morning. We even cleaned a quater of the garage, mighty impressed, we can see ground. I have made up homework sheets for Mac for Scott to take to work to make copies tonight.

Now I am just sitting her waiting for our third termite company to come by and give us a quate. I hate it when they say we will be there between 2-4. All you can do is wait.

I hate this waiting game. I have been home since 1:45. No one has knocked on our door or rang or door bell, the dog never barked but I just went out my front door and there is a note from the guy that stated he had been here but no one was home. I just called his office back and told him to come back.

No call from AAA yet. That is why I was going out my front door was to see if the docs had been left at the door, just by chance.

Sent Scott to Filibertos for some food, now watch this guy be here and we won't be able to eat. Isn't that how it always works.

Thomas will be missing a field trip to...to a dairy farm and pumpkin patch. I'm sure he'll hear about it, but I can just keep reminding him about the trip

I might have to go look at photobucket tonight...hmmm....

Mackenzie's is to a pumpkin patch also. But we went there last year and it was really nothing to brag about so I don't feel to bad, just that she won't get to do it with her class.

Dinner is done and DH and LDD will be leaving soon. My mom is taking LDD again tonight. So thought I would try to work on a project tonight.

Kinda Sorta Doc Dance today. As expected my TA called me and told me that the docs are in (Yay!) However, the earliest that I can have them in hand is Monday morning. (Rats) It's a good day though.

So I just called DCL. Poor people have got to be tired of me calling and bugging them. Would you believe that my docs are in. They were delivered to the TA at 10:41 this morning. We have not heard a thing. MISS I WILL TELL YOU AS SOON AS YOUR DOCS ARE IN. Her as soon as and my as soon as are not the same.

My mother says that she will call on Monday and tell her we know they are in. I say lets give it till Wednesday. I want to see when she calls us and who she calls when. I am ready to play hard ball with this lady.

Thank you so much for the card. I really like it. This birthday is looking up more and more by the day.


Some kids in Mackenzie class were celebrating today. Well this little boy had asked me earlier in the day when Mackenzie's was and I told him so of course she tells him my mommies is on the 6th. So during the celebration he stands up and say "we should all sign to Misiss (he hard a hard time saying it) All oh well Mackenzies mommy."

I thought it was so sweet. I almost cried.

Only 3 1/2 more years to pay off my van. This has been the extended payment plan. We have already paid on it 3 years.
