6.5 hours isn't a bad drive. We drive that length of drive alot, that is how long it takes for us to drive uo to nortern WI to visit my favorite sister (shhh don't tell my other sisters I said that)

We do that drive very often so it doesn't seem like much to us. kids watch 2 movies and read for one hour and fight for one hour and then we are there. hahahahahahha

and I won't tell your other sisters.... I won't.... I won't....

Nancy and to you. It sounds like you are having a very hard week. I will be thinking of you and am still keeping Spencer in my prayers and we adde you friend to my prayers also.

Mike: Don't worry about me. I'm ok. I want to spend more time with Spencer in the next few weeks, I'll be busy busy at work trying to get caught up for my two week vacation, and I'm expecting a dear friend to pass away this week too. It's all a bit overwhelming lately. But thanks for your concern my friend.

And a big Congrats to Cassie from us in WI.

Cass: Loving the pictures. I think that window in your house will be the focus of many sweet sweet pictures. Also, that Gage is such a cutie himself.

Karen: Glad things went well with your dad. I'll keep him in my thoughts for a continued speedy recovery.

Susan Rachel is glad your sons are back to posting on the kids thread. They are having some posting contests too it sounds like and they have some goal as to # of posts they want to reach before the cruise too We have a nice group of kids to go with a nice group of adults on this cruise

I second that. Not only am I excited for meeting the adults, but I am looking forward to the kids meeting each other.
