Don't know if you read it, but I was able to see the Bodies exhibit when we were in DC. Did you get to see it at the museum your son works at? It was fascinating.

No, I didn't get to it yet. I had friends who went and they said they were so impressed with the whole thing. One is a nurse so she really enjoyed it. The other said she was good for about 1.5 hours and then bored. But she said it was crowded and she wanted to sit down. They said there were about 20 body exhibits... one was an 8 month pregnant woman... are they all about the same?

I got booed today  Thanks soo much ladies. Abby, Jessalynn, Cheryl,Nancy and Missy.
But I need help!
I can not get past step three. I highlight the address, the click so the box comes up and highlight copy. After that I can't do anything. If I try to go to User CP the computer bleeps at me. Any suggestions.

LL

Thanks for the help but no Mickey for me:sad2:

GoodNight

Just put Kira to bed, gonna go watch BB finale!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: and have some supper finally! :thumbsup2

If it is something that I make for that week I refrigerate them. Then just reheat. If there are leftovers from a meal I will freeze those. Then we have a big left over dinner night sometime and defrost them all. I have found that most things freeze ok as long as you don't keep them in there forever.

It makes so much sense to cook ahead when you know you have busy nights coming up. We end up with a lot of soup or leftover or cereal nights. I know, terrible mother. But fast food is so much worse. We do that way too much as well or go out to dinner.

So the freezing thing is fine if you have cooked it first? So maybe it was the whole not cooked yet casserole thing that was an issue? I just remember my mom saying not to freeze stuff... (could be an old wives tale thing too..lol)

Must not be--we didn't see a pregnant woman--that would have been freaky. There was a coffee book you could buy and I saw some in there that weren't at our exhibit. I suppose there are only so many and they divvie them up. We were there about two hours. There were 7 rooms with each room discussing a different system in the body. We rented the tapes so we could hear descriptions about everything we saw. I'm not sure how they did it, but it is amazing. Where we saw it it was not crowded at all which I'm sure helped us enjoy it even more.

I freeze my meats when I buy them but that is the only thing I will freeze before cooking.

It does sound like you are having a bad week. It might be the ink cartridge itself. I have gotten bad ones before. Just take it back and get a new one and see how that does.

I will. I hope that is the problem. The black one is fine so I am thinking it is just that. I did all the cleaning it said to do. But it hosed up my whole printer/copier/faxer/scanner thing. lol

That must be what is stuck in my head... she must have meant before cooking..... and I didn't cook then anyway so it didn't matter really...now that I need to cook she isn't around to boss me. LOL

Yea! You got the FO, but not because I went to watch BB--I had to go look at Zachary's latest train track--he is totally into trains!! I might have to go watch Biggest Loser later. The only thing I don't like about watching that show is I feel like I can't have a snack. I mean those people are working so hard and I want to eat chex mix???

Off to snuggle with my tiny guy!! (That's my younger son--not a disparaging comment about my husband!! :lmao: )

they went on a weekend...so I will probably go over in the middle of a weekday since I can... then there will be no crowds at all. Just women with their younger children for puppet shows etc and homeschool children.

Off to do LDD bath time and change sheets on two beds. Joy oh Joy. I will be back in about an hour.

I don't watch BB so I am just sitting here cutting out stripes to make our countdown chain.

That is so fun! We just do morning countdown numbers.

I got a question for you...you seem so creative. I have to plan a game for our fall festival since I am now room mother on top of PTSO Historian... and I have no idea. Do you have any?

A friend of mine just emailed me to tell me that the Baltimore news mentioned my hometown in Louisiana. It seems a councilwoman from Baltimore wants to try to pass a law that was passed in my hometown(Delcambre, LA) this summer--no more saggy pants in public. Yes, that's right, no more saggy pants in public. Now if we could just have the girls wear longer shorts....:rotfl2:

To tell the truth, I don't see too much of that at my kids high school. Of course they go to school on the Marine Corps base. Hell, half the school is enrolled in ROTC.:lmao:

I HATE THE BIG BAGGY PANTS....when our 2 nephews lived with us, they were into that look for a while. So one day I threatened to wear my clohtes like that the next time they had their friends over. Now remember - I was probably home on maternity after having my son so I was a little big around the hips/waste/butt. So I pulled my pants half way down my butt so they could see my underwear and the beginning of a part of their Aunt's body that they did not want to ever see. and I just started walking around saying "yeah, I am cool, I can show off my butt and underwear, I cant wait for Kevin and Cory's friends to come over and we can share underwear stories"

it was very funny and definately got the point across

A friend of mine sent in a tape for the next Big loser... she finds out next month I think....

That is tooo funny! I love it! My kids never tried it but they knew I would pull it down the rest of the way at the wrong moment. My cousin wore his like that for a long time...and since he is in his 20's I couldn't say anything... but I could pull on them. LOL He sees me coming and hikes them up real quick like.
