Have just had a look and its looks a great place to tour around , apple harvest at the moment.

Summer and fall are both great times to visit.. there are some great state parks, lighthouses to visit, wineries (on the to-do-list for next year), fish boils, boating,....the list goes on and on!

It's been in the low 70's the past few days but to get back in the 90's by the end of the week. It has been beautiful!:thumbsup2

Congrats on your 100th post!

Have a safe trip home and tell Cath and Live I say hi. Alex sent Liv a message last night. She is getting so excited about actually getting to see her in person. We'll probably call this weekend.

I will have to ask Liv about the penguins. Sounds like something Alex would like since it would make no sense to me!:lmao:
Did you send the photo to her email? I'll have her check it tonight.:thumbsup2

Have a great evening.

It is such a neat place...something for everyone to do. We found a state park with a white sandy beach, on the Lake Michigan side, and there's a bit of a tide on the lake (not like the ocean, but it is noticeable) so waves gently lap in...so fun!

And, we found a cute little restaurant where if you sit up at the counter, your food is brought out on a remote control train! So fun!

That sounds like a bunch of fun. Harrison would love the train!:thumbsup2

Hi everyone,

Just a quick update on my Godson Spencer. He is still in the coma and now to add to all his other injuries and the coma, he has a bowel obstruction which will need surgery, his right lung will not inflate (another surgery needed) and he has pneumonia.

He has not responded at all to anyone except for a finger squeeze every now and then. Hopefully that is a little good news. It just seems he takes one step forward and two steps back.

Please continue to pray for him and send good thoughts his way.

Thanks everyone

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I never used hair spray then. I was such a tomboy... I wasn't in to primping. I was a jeans, t-shirt and barefoot kind of girl. Mike's dad used to tease me all the time about being barefoot.

("Don't you have any shoes")

My sister could have bought it by the cases.
I remember her using Aqua Net. :lmao:

I was the same as you Robin. a jeans t-shirt girl. a plain jane. I still am. i have never used a can of hairspray. My girls and granddaughter are very particular with their hair. They take time to make sure it is perfect. Even Asiah who is 6 does. She is so cute. I wore a tieshirt and boxers to bring her to school. She said Gramma you drove me to school in your underwear. She always dresses to a tee. It is her mothers fault. She wouldn't leave the house not looking perfect. Remember she is 6. Diane

Here's a joke for all the "losers" out there:

Bob was in big trouble. He forgot his wedding anniversary.

His wife was really upset. She told him, "Tomorrow morning, I expect to find a gift in the driveway that goes from 0 to 200 in 6 seconds... AND IT BETTER BE THERE !!! "

The next morning Bob got up early and left for work. When his wife woke up, she looked out the window and sure enough there was a box, gift-wrapped, in the middle of the driveway.

Confused but curious, the wife put on her robe.. ran out to the driveway... and brought the box back in the house. She opened it and found a brand new bathroom scale.

Bob has been missing since Friday.

Great Joke.

Hi everyone. :flower3:

I've been out of the loop for a while so I have to ask, did the big "L" get moved to a different day???

I can't believe we are getting so close to cruise time! We got an e-mail from out TA yesterday that Delta changed our flight times ALOT. So much so that we have to reschedule our 1st leg because it now arrives after our connection leaves, and our return has left us with a 4 hour layover in ATL. I don't think so! I picked new flights so we're crossing our fingers that we can get on them. I know this is typical airline happenings but it peeves me because we have to change and we've lost our seat assignments in the process. :headache:

I'm sure glad the weather is getting cooler because it means the packing of summer clothes can begin! :)

Us too Abby!

Yuck!:sad2:
We have to hang out at MCO until about 4:40 before we can fly home.
At least our flight in hasn't changed.
But I'm very unhappy about this.

Oh, and nice to hear from you!:)

Happy families!

Does Neil look ill to you?......no, nor me:mad: - I reckon he's pulling a fast one so he didnt have to go clothes shopping with me.

I love how both mojitos are already at the table!! You just can't trust the waitstaff, can you?

Hi Rose--sorry to steal your FO--I am back reading quite a few pages trying to catch up.

Here is my question of the day. We have booked the whole trip through disney so we are using disney air. Does anyone know how we can get our air info. Such as airline and times. My TA is absolutly no help to us. I will drive me nuts to wait until 14 days before travel to find this info out.

I'm with you. I haven't heard from my TA yet either. I traded peace of mind in one way to uncertainty in another!
