I have decided I really needed to clean the house.Today I did the three bedrooms and the bathroom. Dusted , straightened closets, drawers straightened, and vaccumed. I really shoud keep going but the Chris is golfing tomorrow so I will finish the rest of the house tomorrow.

Yup, 5 weeks to go.

Aren't they fun, and if having 2 of them isn't fun enough, no I had the wonderful idea of working with 500 of them . Joy!

Actually I love my job, it just has it's moments.

Anyone remember those little silver and gold star stickers we used to get in school for doing a good job?

I am trying to find some of those, anyone have an idea where I can find some. I have checked ebay and no luck. I need them for a scrapbook page.

Try a teacher supply store, or maybe in the school/office supply sections of Walmart, Target, etc.

Remember the motorcycle accident I told you about last week? It was our Godson. His mom called us tonight to tell us what happened. When I realized it was the accident that Chuck and I saw, I thought I was going to throw up.

He has massive brain injuries and is in a coma. He also has a broken hand, a broken shoulder, a fractured spine, a ruptured spleen, a puntured lung and numerous other internal injuries. He has had 3 surgeries already.

I had such a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach for the last week. I wanted to call the police dept to see if they could tell me how the young man was. I just couldn't get it out of my mind. Now I know why.

There was so much blood on his face the night of the accident that I didnt even recognize my own Godchild.

Please pray for Spencer. He is only 19 years old.

Nice pics Jeff! You'll have to tell Al & I more about Hautulco, I've thought it might be a nice place to go. Was this an all-inclusive that you stayed at?

Yes, the Gala Huatulco is All-Inclusive.

I will PM you some more pictures. Don't want to take up too much space here with non-DCL pics.

Unfortunately, our first 2 trips there were pre-DS, so we didn't have digital.

Huatulco is a beautiful resort town. The Mexican Gov't set it up to be the next Cancun, but wanted to keep the natural beauty of the bays (there are 9 of them, but only 5 are accessable from the land - the other 4 by boat). Well it never developed like they wanted (it wasn't hotel on top of hotel). There are only about 10 hotels total that Apple has to offer (if that many). We've stayed at the Gala and loved it. The Barcelo is next door and seems nice too, but we are just accustom to the Gala.

Anyhow, there are two little towns just outside of the resort area. One is Santa Cruz and the other is La Crusicita (sp?). The former is the port town with not much there, and the latter is the true town. Very small and quaint. We'd feel safe walking around there at night. The people down there are very friendly too.

When you go on Apple, they fly at night and you land at about 9:00 p.m. It is dark when you get there. The airport is 3 large thatched buildings. It was very warm when we arrived (85-90 at 9:00, btw it was 0 the first time we left from Chicago). There were palm trees everywhere from what we could see. The next morning, Suz and I woke up to a light in the corner. She told me I left the light on and to go turn it off (we went and had a few drinks when we got in, so I don't remember if I left it on ). I get up to turn it off and there was no light on. It was the sun coming around the curtain. I pull it back a little bit to look and the bay is the first thing we saw in the daylight. We fell in love with this location instantly. It is just beautiful down there.

Diane,

The Doc Dance is when you receive your documentations for the cruise. It is the packet with all the info. It will also include the luggage tags/stickers for the cruise (it lists your room number, etc).
