6 weeks today we fly to FLORIDA. We are so excited!!!!!!!

a million things still to do!!

I know what you mean. I'm getting panicky now. My "to do" list is getting longer not shorter.

MeetingMinnie.jpg

When we saw Minnie, Leah had to go see her, herself. We stood in a long line. Leah couldn't understand why she couldn't go right up and say Hi. I had to keep her entertained thoughout the whole line. Once I was our turn, I let her rip. Like a shot she ran toward Minnie and gave her the biggest hug. Then Minnie got her to pose for this priceless pic. It was wonderful. My only regret is that I did not take out the Video Camera and give it to Laura while I took the Stills.

Love this photo

Have you guys read about the "new" Haunted Mansion???

Can't wait to ride it now!!! :woohoo: :hmghost:

Cant see your piccies Cass:sad2: - just got a white box and red x

Hi Victoria. I'm not sure if anyone has answered this yet, I am just catching up, but they do have them for adults. My DH has a couple of them. They sell them in surf shops I know. Surfers use them so that they don't get bellyburn from their boards and help with sun protection.

We got Ellis' from Old Navy - I'm sure they did adult sizes too.

Jessalynn,

I can tell you the only thing that works for Suz is the patch. It can only be gotten here in the States via perscription. Not sure how you get it up in Canada.

Surprisingly, we had a very smooth cruise this past January and she didn't need it at all.

They last about 2-3 days, so a supply of 3 is needed for a week. You put it right behind your ear.

I wore a patch behind my ear when we did a mini to cruise to Egypt - my pupil in my one eye went enormous and i looked really wierd (yes! - wierder than usual!:lmao: ) - if you touch your patch then rub you eye it can make this happen. I'm going to try the wrist bands

Afternoon all. I just finished my tshirts a little bit ago. I'm so excited they actually turned out!!!!!!!:cool1: :cool1:

I will post pictures later this evening.
I love seeing everyones pics. It really does get me all excited about vacation!!!!:thumbsup2

I can't wait....we'll be doing this again on 19th. YIPPEE.

Heather

Heather - you seem like a real cruising expert - what would you recommend to have with us for contingency in case of sea sickness. People have told me to bring a couple of different medicines as no one medicide works for everyone

what are your thoughts?

Think everyone had chipped in and answered this.

The doors are metal correct? So I can put a magnetic erase board on the inside of the door to keep track of youngest kid?

Yep!

We aren't really playing any games or anything right now... I did read in the passporter about that Mickey 200 or something like that.... a family building a veggie racecar for a chance to get a collector pin. Anyone here done that before?

We have and it was great fun.

Second DIS-meet
322.jpg

We had a much larger group at the first meet on Sunday afternoon but no one thought to take a group picture. The second meet was a post-tag get together - loads of fun. Notice the crazy CM? That's Pikey - he was a hoot!

I spy someone familiar...just below you Brenda...is that Nancy?

Heather

welcome.:cheer2: i too am a virgin.
sorry, i couldn't resist that line.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Sure you are and am a Tibetan monk working as a peace envoy in Dafour for Robert Mugabe's government..:rolleyes1

Brenda, did you ever see the photo spread of Mr. Federer in Men's Vogue? It was almost too much for me. Of course, part of his charm is how much class he shows both on and off the court. I love his quote about his REAL girlfriend Mirka: "None of this would mean anything if I woke up one day and Mirka wasn't laying next to me." How sweet is that? I also loves how he manages to be confident without coming off arrogant.

Hazel Say's something just like that almost everyday to her councilor, she get's so moved sometimes about me she cry's....:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:

Anniversary dinner:

Cheddar-Beer Fondue (We do live in Wisconsin after all!)
Beef Fondue
Chocolate-Mint Fondue
1 Bottle of Champagne

Stuffed, slightly tipsy, and a tad bit randy--too bad we can't get rid of the kids for a while.

The recipe for a Happy Anniversary!! :thumbsup2

Nancy......How was the doctors appointment? How is Tony?

Thanks Missy. Dr appt went OK (not great...just ok). Tony is working on a remedy for his malady. You're too sweet for asking.

Heather

Yup, that's me in the aqua colored shirt. Chuck is peaking between also. :)

Carrie: Nice Pics. I tried to scan a few of my first trip to WDW but I used one of those sticky albums and I'd have to tear the pic to get it out.

Lori: Sweet, sweet pics. I agree with Karen. The last one is the best. I want to just grab one of those little feet and munch on them! Harrison is not coming on the cruise, right? His tootsie are safe then.

Jessalynn: Great pics too.:thumbsup2 I love the modeling ones. Little hams.

Brenda: You're right...Pikey was a hoot. Did you get to see him in Diversions on the last night? We went with Jo and Danny (Perdidobay..also shown in Brenda's Molar Express Pic) and he was a riot!!

Morning Nancy,Love all the pics...

ps..Steve have you given any thoughts as to what you'll tell customs about your new invention?,don't worry to much fella they say Guantanamo is just lovely at this time of year....:rolleyes1

So wasn't it just a few months ago when I told you all the story of the motorcycle accident we witnessed where the man died?

Last night, Chuck and I witnessed yet another one! We were the second car up on the accident. A kid was driving one of those Crotch Rockets (without a helmet) and slammed into the side of a huge pickup truck. Again, a girl ran out of the first car with a medical bag in hand. Same senario as the first accident. I ran over to see if there was anything I could do too. Poor kid's head was just gushing blood. It was actually running down the street. He was breathing but not conscious. The only differences in this story was there was no "Flight for Life" called (probably because there was no room for a helicopter to land there) and we detected the smell of alcohol. I don't know if this kid will make it either. He was horribly hurt. The accident happened about 2 blocks from SIL/BIL's house and Chuck's brother rides a bike too. Of course, that's the first thing that goes through your mind.

We also don't know if the kid or the man in the truck were the drinkers or maybe even the chick who stopped to help with the medical bag.:confused3

WEAR YOUR DARN HELMETS PEOPLE!!!!:sad1:

Good Luck to our KK "Losers" today. How many of us are left now? I'm not expecting the same results as last week...it had to be a total fluke.:goodvibes I won't even come close. I knew it was too good to be true.

Talk to you all later. Have a great Friday everyone!:yay:

Yes, I did think about this. I'm sure that TSA will want a closer look at it. Maybe I'll put a note of explaination in it. I'll probably pack it in it's own case with my sandcastle building tools.

Heather just been offered Flights to Sanford £195 for next week,or £353 Kenya HB have anyone been there without the Jabs?....Seen the news?...:)

I ordered my t shirt transfer paper today from ebay.

I now need to research disney tickets. I want 21 day ones but dont like the $$$:sad2: If I rejig my schedule (again:rolleyes: ) we could probably make do with 7 day ones:rolleyes:

I hate being on a budget:sad:

Next I'm off to research the overnight hotel and carpparking at the airport.
I really need to start ticking things off my do to list.

I have been up since 5am and ironed til 9.30am:scared1: - 4 1/2 hrs of ironing with a break to get Ellis to school. All the holiday stuff is now laundered and waiting to go back in the cases for Orlando:cool1:

Downstrs is tidy and clean (except the patio windows of course:rotfl:)
and I'm about to blitz the upstrs next before I run out of steam.

Once thats done I have to prep the guest room for my friends on saturday and then I can start packing:yay: :yay:
