Day 4 of the transfer challange. I checked at work and they were all expired also. Well next to work Walmart just opend this week. So DH came to have lunch with me today and I sent him over there after lunch. I told him if they are all expired then just get the one that is the least expired.

On my way home today I decided that I would look up Avery's phone number and get clarification on this date issue. How could all these stores be carring expired product? When I got home there was a pack of 6 Avery sheets, with no software. The date was May of 07.

Yeah, i'm not sure if he even knows if that was on here!!!!!! That was the funniest thing ever!!!!!

So I got the phone number and gave them a call. I was informed that that was not an expiration date it was the manufature date and that the sheets do not go bad. WELL DON'T I FEEL DUMB GOING TO ALL THE STORES AND PULLING THEIR PRODUCT OFF THE SHELVES. Of course this lady walked me through all the tips that Cass has givien. Hey Cass I think she stole your tips, she had it pretty much word for word. At this point I got snotty with her and said "I did it all correctly why did it crack and peel? She proceeded to tell me "I don't know, but I can tell you how to take the transfer off so you can reuse the shirt." Oh that made my day. I was going to be able to use the shirt after all.

At the end of the call the lady says "Don't forget the shirt needs to be 50/50. Anything higher and the transfers will not work"

So off I go to take the transfer off. Darn it, the green had dyed the shirt. If I would have taken it off the same day if would not have been a problem but it has been 4 days. So I decided to give up on that shirt. Not like I can't go out and buy another $3 shirt.

So as I was balling up the shirt I looked at the tag and it says 100% cotton. Hmmm. I wonder if that was the problem.

So after getting Mackenzie from school I rushed home and printed out the logo. YES I PRINTED IT WITH OUT SOFTWARE. I just used my photo software. HINT THAT DOES SAVE YOU ABOUT $5 ON THE TRANSFERS WITHOUT GETTING THE ONES WITH SOFTWARE. I printed out 2. Because that is all the shirts I have. One for me and one for Scott. I followed the direction to a tee. Guess what. It worked

Yes the shirts are 50/50

We won the Walmart battle with the transfers. When we got there we went straight back to see what date all the ones on the shelf had. Between white and dark we pulled about 25 off the shelf because they were all expired. The customer service gal we took them to was very nice and instantly gave us our money back for them and said "I did not know they expired."

Don't get me wrong. I have only been home 2 days without her. The first day of school and I had Scott to keep me company and then last Friday. I had to go take care of my mom that day. I will only have Fridays off, so my goal is to volunteer at the school 2 Fridays a month. We will take to the teacher this Wednesday and see if I can do it in her room. If not I will find a place in the library of someplace that they could use me. I want to be very proactive in her school. As she adjusts I might up it to 3 days a month. I plan on going on any field trips and want to help however I can.

I will definitely be on all the field trips--I hope to be on all the ones for my
5th grader as well--it was hard for me to do that when I had a little one at home.

They look good on the gray. Nice job. I haven't start anything for the cruise, yet. no transfers, distags, magnets, (Other than having everything paid for.) I have to get busy.

I didn't know we had a contest going. Guess I'll have to try harder. Let's look at the ones divided by 5,000:

Jeff: 2 - 5,000 and 15,000
Nancy: 1 - 10,000
Victoria: 1 - 20,000

I'm winning that one.

We're getting like the Aug Repo is. They had it divided by Wenches (women) and Swabbies (men). Based on that, the men are losing 13-7 here, although I argue that Nancy is on the men's team. Just kidding you Goose.

Looks like the Cheeseheads are winning to me!!!
