Carrie I'm glad you got all your outfits for Pirate's Night set. I was going to suggest you get Kelsey a shirt a different color than red (the 3 of us have white shirts) and then I read you found a brown shirt for her, that will be fine. I'll have to see if we have our pictures from Pirate Night from our cruise last Oct. on the computer and post them if I do.

If Webster wrote the first dictionary, where did he find the words? And if a word is misspelled in the dictionary, how would we ever know?

Webster is the common dictionary of choice in America; The Oxford English Dictionary is actually a much better, more comprehensive dictionary that traces the etymology of the English language through the earliest records (around 750 AD).

Not that anyone here probably cares (other than me) but you did ask.

Heather we're so glad you heard from Linda and that they are doing OK!!!! Happy to here they are still able to come on the cruise!!! They definitely deserve a vacation with Mickey!

Hi Guys...I popped out to the shops for 1hr and guess who phones whilst I'm out.....Yes Linda!

She says that they have finally found temporary acommodation and are starting to turn things around. It looks like the drying out and rebuilding could take anywhere from 6mth to a year, but Wayne shold be able to do the majority of the work himself.

They are coming on the cruise with us all....yippee...and wished to let everyone know that they are really touched by all the good wishes from us all.

They haven't been able to do any ressies as the flood happened the night before returning cruisers could book on-line. She hopes that when they get on-board Disney might take pity on them and sort out brunch in Palo's as this was the one thing that her and Wayne wanted to do this time.

The excursions will just be a case of taking a chance once on-board. Anyway, I will be speaking to her in about half an hour, so if there is anything more to report....I'll update this thread

She finally agreed to wear a red shirt if it was just for the night, but she had a red one and a brown one to pick from. I really liked the red, because then I could get a black sash for it and her black pants I thought would look real nice. But she picked the brown. She naturally likes browns anyways.

How many movies have you seen in the Buena Vista Theatre (plus the WD Theatre if they run one there) on a normal 7-night cruise?

For the newbies, how many do you plan on watching?

Has anyone had a complete rainout of a day during a cruise? We never had. Just wondering what people do. Was it at Sea or in a Port?

At the most I think we have seen 3 movies, although Rachel may have seen more. They usually have some good movies playing and we plan on seeing more but there are too many other things to do on the ship.

We didn't make it to GC one year because the seas were too rough to tender. In 4 cruises we have not had much rain at all!!

I thought it was freaky too! I'm pretty sure that my Rob is older than yours......He's 38 today.

My Rob is 37 today and my dad is 67 today!

This is the first I hear about a video, but if I (or anyone in my family) ends up on it, I'm fine with you posting it. Sounds like fun!

We tried to see Monsters Inc in the BVT on our first cruise but they had some technical difficulties so we missed it. We saw Snow Dogs in the WDT.

The only time we ever had rain on a cruise was 2005 during the sailaway party. The party was cut short because of it.

But we have seen lots of movies in our stateroom! In fact, everytime we cruise, we see the same movies over and over and over. First, we see the middle of it, then the end of it, then the middle again, then the end again and if we are REALLY lucky, we will catch the beginning of it and then we can say we saw the WHOLE movie

I have 2 transfers printed to do Mackenzie shirt this afternoon. So we will see how it turns out. At the rate I am going I need more transfer paper. Is there a way to buy it without the software?
