I think that Karen was concerned that she would loose her choice inside cabin on Deck 5(?) in return for a not so nice porthole on Deck 1. I'd have to agree with her. That really does not seem like much of a trade up and I would, If I were her, appreciate the veto of that particular move.

Yep! - we chose deck 5 cos there are not many cabins on deck 5 so quieter and its really close to the kids club. We chose aft cos I had heard its better than the fore for sickness etc.

Hello all

Our internet connection is steadier again so I'm back! How's everyone been? Our RSVP's are starting to slowly roll in so I'm VERY excited about it! Every day checking off a new person on the list!

Has anyone heard anything about Hurricane Dean heading straight towards Cozumel?! This has me so worried I hope it doesn't get so damaged that we can't go there and get diverted to an Eastern! FH has already threatened mutiny if that happens!

Your dress is beautiful - you must be getting so excited by now.

Just finished my shirts. Went with the KK logo on the back and our names on the fronts of the shirts. I got the transfers at Michael's, they worked great. I also worked on our door decorations. I made one with the KK logo, another with Mickey and Minnie at the helm of a ship with "Welcome to the Joseph Family's Grand Adventure" written across the top and "Disney Magic Western Carribbean October 20th, 2007" across the bottom. I made a third which is a large map of the Itinerary of the Ship, with a small lime green mickey head attached to a magnet that I can move about the map to show where we are in the Caribbean.

Considering our cabin's are available and we go there first, what is the next thing you will do after embarking?

In the event the rooms are not available when we board, what is the first thing you will do when you get on board?

We'll be heading straight for the Mickey pool- I've read that it might be the only chance of getting it fairly empty.

Heck I am not moving and I keep misplacing my tag stuff. I am working on mine right now also.

Me too! - come across some things I had totally forgotten about the other day but still cant find some things I misplaced when moving.

Here's a few questions!

Are we all wearing the same t-shirt on the first day or are we all kind of doing our own thing?

Are we going to do a group shot sometime during the cruise?

Can anyone point me towards the DIS tag post? It's something we really want to do!

Dave wants to know how we came up with the name Konked Kruisers

T shirts - some are wearing them at the terminal and some are wearing them at the wine tasting.

We are hoping to get a photo at the wine tasting - ie bring the kids along for the photo and then take the m to the kids club so we can begin the tasting.

Jeff & Nancy agreed to send it to me.

I have now printed it off and made a card using Cass's logos from her website - hope you didn't mind Cass.

I will post all the messages off tomorrow.

We thought it would be the better this way as Linda doesn't have access to a computer that often.

Hi everybody ,

its great to pop on to the site now and again and read how excited everybody is about the cruise , i know we dont post often ( due to work etc ) but we are really looking forward to meeting everybody and putting some faces to the nick names people have . you often have a mental image of how somebody will look , myself !!!! think of danny divito/ tom cruise!!!!! now that will get some people thinking !!!!

we are also excited about the cruise and visiting some great islands with some great cruise buddys


p.s the dis-tag thing i did say we were doing it didnt i ?? ( sorry i forget sometimes its an age thing!!)

also could somebody please explain how it works and what gifts we put in etc you can PM me if that would be easier.

Also, please let me add that since the letter was lost in cyber-space for over a week, we felt that some of the sentiments were becoming dated since we've already spoken to Linda this week. Please be assured that Jeff did a great job by adding in a ditty from all the KK's who weren't able to sign the letter.

Liz and Sean. Because the tag game was so popular, we had collectively made the decision to stop with 20 players and to cut the sign-up date on August 1st. I posted a nice big..."Last chance" post awhile back. I'm so sorry neither one of you were able to logon at that time to see that. I truly hope this doesn't cause any hurt feelings. It is not our intention to leave anyone out of the game, but with some of our KK's leaving sooner rather than later, we had to post an earlier cutoff. I hope you are both alright with our decision. Sorry.....

Liz, Chuck and I are wearing our shirts on Oct 20th to board the ship. Our kids MIGHT be wearing them also.

The Konked Kruisers name was created by none other than Brenda (oybolshoi). I'll let her jump on to explain how she came up with it.

She is also the one who came up with our first cruises nickname of "The Molar Express" because of all the dental work we were all having before the cruise. She is one creative lady, huh??

Rob and the kids will eat at the buffet then explore the ship.......

Last cruise, we all went to the buffet but Rob and the boys ate too slow (or too much) for me and Emily and we left them to explore on our own.....I think I have a picture of her in every corner of the Wonder!
