October 20th 2007 Western Magic Part 4

Long story short... Plankton is the "evil" character from Spongebob who is always trying to take over the world. He's great and Jay and I think he's a riot so when we were at Universal Studios last year we found a plush Plankton, bought him, and turned him into our WDW vacation mascot (he even has mouse ears!).

Since we are now unable to take the cruise with you fine people, several of the founding members of the KK have offered to adopt lil' Plankie and take him cruising on the Magic. Auntie Karen and Mother Goose will be his guardians for the week.

Can someone please explain this plankton thing to me. I keep reading about it but don't understand it.

Boy am I glad I asked. I was thinking it was a paper doll of some sort that every takes turns dressing up. Don't ask me why I thought that. But I am glad to know it is not a paper doll. I was worried about it getting wet and all. Thank you for the explanation.

Not much going on tonight on here or at home. When DH left for work Mac and I went outside to do yard work but that did not last long due to the thunder. So in we came for her bath-time. I love her bath time it is about an hour long and I get so much done when she is in there. Tonight I finished off packing one suitcase. Except for waiting to see what airline we get so I can see what their weight limit is. I got most of all 3 kids stuff in one suitcase so I am hoping to get all of DH and mine in another plus the garmet bag.

So let me ask. Would it be crazy for a family of 5 to have 2 large suitcases, one medium, one garmet, and 4 carry ons?

Ok ladies, what are some good magazines to take on the plane to read. I have Racheal Ray. I am thinking about Paula Dean. What else? It is really hard for me to read books when the kids are within earshot I don't retain what I read.

The things we have neglected over the past 3 years in order to pay for this cruise are not falling apart. Guess it is time to buy a new......

microwave. It was on its last leg before she caught it on fire now we are just milking it for what it is worth until we decide what we want. It is over 9 years old.

a new kitchen table, one chair was cracked for the past few years now, and it offical broke a few weeks ago. The table sags in the middle and we have a folding chair for one of the places because we did not have enough chairs, and a dog 2 dogs ago chewed on one of the chairs.

a shredder. The moter on this one sounds like it is going out, and I would like one that shreds credit cards and cd's but I won't be to picky

The anteni (sp) on DH car broke a few months ago. Of course it broke up so we can not take it to a car wash, so I have been washing it myself, but I would like to get that fixed also.

And at least you can see I do my part on the post counts.

-2 cameras and 1 video camera in a camera bag
-carry-on napsack
-stroller
-car seat

anyone wanna meet us at the airport and help carry it all???

a new reading lamp for our bedroom. That one is from my first year in college in 96. It is missing a few pieces now and can not be fixed.

I would even like to get curtains for the house, to help cool it some more, and keep some of the rooms darker. I could sew me some if I had a sewing machine. Who knows maybe someone will take this as a HINT and get me one for x-mas.

I did see the video but I did not put 2 and 2 together and come up with 4. That has been how my brain has been working lately. Sorry. It was a great video and I think now that I have cable I will have to watch it again.

You make me feel so much better about the luggage thank you. I just hope we can get all our luggage plus my parents in one shuttle van. That might be a problem.

So does anyone have any recommendations on microwaves. We are used to the kind that sit on the counter. We don't have a lot of counter space so we bought a hutch for the one we have along with a few other items.

I am thinking of an over the range kind but that does mean having to install it and I have heard they cost more. I really don't know what kind to look at.

We just got back from seeing Live Free or Die Hard. Wasn't bad, it was rather enjoyable. We wanted to see Transformers but Rob got back too late.

Oh well, next Friday I think we will have Grandma babysitting

I am taking the youngest DD to a radio Disney event tomorrow. It is a lip sinking contest for Hannah Montana. She does not know I am taking her. It is about an hour away from here. And it is outside for and hour and half. Yuck. I am not to sure of this. But we are going.

I took her to a radio Disney thing last weekend and it was outside for the same times. But it was on 15 minutes away. I personally thought it was a big waste of time but she had fun and got a few prizes for participating.
