*pokes her head in and waves* Hello all! I know I haven't been active, but I wanted to poke my head in and say hi! I haven't forgotten you all and I hope you haven't forgotten us

Wedding planning is going smoothly, the invitations are going out in about 2 weeks so I'll have some downtime then before the month of September Hurray!

We did our reservations for excursions and Palo and spa stuff a little over a week ago... we have the Romance package so we were able to do it 105 days out. I'll have to get out the schedule and see if anyone is going on the same ones we are!

I do miss you guys and I look forward to getting some down time so I can get more active and get to know everyone!

Leah is doing better. She will ask to urinate, but still has accidents the other way. We figure that if we're still having problems by cruise time, then we will only put her in the club after she has done her business. I told my wife to make sure that she is handling everything herself now, so that she will be self-sufficient in the clubs. Good luck with Sammie, sounds like you're very close.

Our last cruise Julia turned 3 and was just potty trained. They were great in the club with helping her button up and all. She was consistent on the number 1 part but number 2 was still iffy. Luckily she did fine and like I said the counselors were great with her. I just let them know that it was still new for her and I always took her to the bathroom everytime we walked into the club and made her try to go. That seemed to work for us since she was normally only in there for an hour or so each stay. I even sent her in her pullup in the evening for us to go to the club and told them she still slept in it and since she might fall asleep there they were fine with it. I'm sure it depends who is working at the time but they were great a couple of years ago!!!!!

I do have to get up in a little over 1 hour and go to work. But I could sit here and help meet my goal of 1000 posts before Oct.

Hello everyone. After three years of lurking on these boards and since almost day one on this thread, I finally figured out that my original registration did not work correctly and that was why I could not post, so I reregistered and here I am.

This will be the third DCL cruise for myself and my DH Rich and the 2nd for my SIL. The other have been on the Wonder so we are ready to feel the Magic.

I just wanted to say hello and thank you all for the information and tips that you have posted.

I am a little shy and so I may lurk (also now just a bad habit), more than I post but I wanted to say hello and thank you.

Am at home,Ryan is in Ireland until sunday This is the longest he's ever been away from us.. ,Rosie has just finished reading some book which made her laugh cry and .....Am waiting on some flight details for later in the week and if that don't happen am going to take Rosie over to York for the day on Thursday.....Happy creosoting Dear..

Good morning Chris and Karen!

Sure was a crazy weekend here on the KK thread. I couldn't tear myself away at all yesterday. It was exciting to see all the excursions people got and are still hoping for. I'm sure it'll get crazy again on Aug 6th for the first timers. My kids will sleep through the ressies process and let mom do everything. Well, except maybe Tony. He was a real trooper this weekend to help with mine and Chucks. He was pretty sick but helped out anyway. He was going to set up Kristins laptop and cell phone to use for high speed internet but I had my lazy little dial up getting the ressies first. I'm sure he'll be around again on the 6th to do his and Stacy's and Kristin's/Jesse's.

Our first cruise we had APL and had our ressies linked with Jo and Danny (Perdidobay for those of you who remember them.) The "linking" never worked for us. They had a different rotation than we did. Jo went to Rockin Bar D to get it switched while I stood in line for Palo dinner ressies. They were never able to really switch it in the system so they just told her to show up with us at Animators on the first night and they'd take care of it. We actually moved from a table of 8 to a nice quiet table of 4 for the week.

This year I guess I don't care what rotation we get again. Just so that we are all at the same table and have the same rotation without having to go to Rockin Bar D for the switch.

So now I have to wind down from the crazy weekend of DISing and go to work. Good thing I'm super busy this week or it might drag.

I did it - I read harry potter 7 over the weekend - and still managed to visit my parents, attend 3 birthday parties, have people over dinner on Sunday, and have friends from vancouver visit on Sunday for a few hours.

I had to stay up late - didnt go to bed last night until 4am but I couldnt put it down it was sooooo good.

I wont say anything about the book but if anyone else has read it - PM me and let me know what you thought!

I am working at one of the big Banks in Canada - just started there about 10 months ago and I find the process to get anything done is slow.

Too many people who think good management is hiding and not making decisions -very frustrating for those of us who like to get things done

Its 2pm over here and I've been up since 6am so its definately afternoon for me.

No inside piccies yet sorry! - I will take some soon. I have some of the garden - its a "work in progress" - first piccies with manky conifers, ivy and horrible tree and then without. I'll post them once i get them loaded. I have spent hours digging out ivy roots, and if it ever stops raining I can play with my new toy - a creosote sprayer for the fences - woo hoo! - I get all the good jobs

Yes, Ellis broke up for 6 weeks yesterday. If we ever get a bit of sunshine I have lots planned now we live near a lovely huge park- acres of woodland, little lake with ducks and swans to feed etc, but its just bucketing down with rain here for days and days, hence we joined him at the gym as a back up for something to do.

You got anything nice planned for your munchkin?

You get to book your excursions soon? Are you still doing the boat? We are if we can get on it after you lot have booked


I still havent done a thing towards our other holiday and its in just over 3 weeks - I'm usually all packed by now.

Too much to do and sooo little time. I have a kitchen to paint aswell. At the moment its a revolting orange colour - I have chosen a soft willow green, but i have to sugar soap the walls first to get off any grease - the previous owners werent the cleanest of people - ewk! - the muck we have found

By the time I have finished it will be time to get the xmas trees out

so you guys only 6 weeks off over the summer?

Kids in Canada get about 9 weeks. normally start aroudn the end of June (27, 28, 29th area depending on the day fo the week) and then are off until the Tuesday after Labour Day (Labour day for us is the first Monday in September).

I beleive its too long of a break. Some school boards are playing with giving longer holidays during the school year and shortening teh summer break but not very many.
