Who's going to go see fireworks tomorrow night?

From my back patio, we can see about 12-18 different communities from the comfort of our patio chairs. Plus, several neighbors shoot stuff off as well.

We have not bought our fireworks yet. We did a pretty good display last year in the backyard (we get better every year). This year, Suz' best friend's DH and I were going to get some REALLY good stuff, but it has been so dry. Plus we have a farm field right behind the house and the farmer grew wheat in the section of field that boarders our yard. It is very, very dry. Unless he cut it today or we get the rain they are predicting tonight, we won't be shooting anything off.

Instead, we'll just enjoy what we watch on the horizon.

Is anyone going to set some off themselves? I love watching Scott trying to blow himself up to entertain us. That is half the entertainment!!!!!!

Oooppss. Sorry, didn't see this post before I posted.

We will be shooting off lower ground stuff for sure. If we feel it is safe to go for the arial show, we will buy the stuff tomorrow. We will probably get some single, double and triple shells and some specialty shells as well. Maybe about 3-4 dozen shell in all.

I'm not sure if we will be going anywhere to see them. A small town near us has a festival all day with parade and fireworks. We might end up there.

What you should do is invite her over tomorrow or on a weekend, keep her busy and secretly go post on the DIS. This way she can't post while you are.
