I just wanted to say thank you to everyone on this site. The past 2 days have been an emotional rollercoaster and I was not able to get on yesterday to talk with everyone. I feel alot better tonight being able to catch up on what has been going on with everyone. Thanks for being my online friends. I really helps to know people are out there.

This smilie sums up my solicitor. My solicitor has gone into hiding. I have tried emailing her, ringing her...my next move will be to ambush her as she arrives at work and attack her in the carpark til she agrees to complete on the 22nd.

My misplaced optimisism astounds me some days... each day I log on expecting everyone I've urgently emailed several times to have actually answered me! .......then I realize they ae all a bunch of *ssholes and no-one has replied

How's Neil with it Karen?,we moved in here on the 23nd of December....Yes thats right 2 days before Santa and the first thing Hazel did was put up the tree....

Oh and the drive down the side of the house was dug up and we had to carry all the furniture along some planks stacked on bricks in the chucking down rain,Hence we ain't moved in 13 years....

Let's just say for any gardeners out our way your about to get a whole load of good news and any sun bathers...go back to bed....

I would be exactly like that too - Hazel and I sound very similar.

I love christmas...I've already told Neil we'll have just over 5 months to get it all painted and ready for our perfect christmas. We have 4 big trees and 4 little ones too.

Neil is p'd off too, but cos he's out working all day he doesnt think about it as much, and he doesnt have the great job of trying to keep everyone doing what they should be and chasing everyone etc. I tried about 20 electricians yesterday to come and take down 8 light fittings ready for the move - couldnt get a single one Either answer phone, number now dead or too busy. Its just sooooo frustrating. I hate not being in control. I hate being on someone elses timescale.

Hopefully in a couple of weeks we'll be in and unpacking but its just the waiting that s driving me nuts and no actual date yet. I bet there wont be any removal vans free by the time we finally geta date.

Noooooo - havent got time for rain. Its still dry and fairly bright here....dont you get blowing those rain clouds to Brum mister or you'll be next in the queue after I've dealt with my solicitor.
