Much better yesterday we lost in the semi-final in a sudden death penalty shootout after Little cat (Rosie) had managed to save 4 of their penalties.....We had tears:sad1: :sad1: :sad1: But she's fine now.....:rotfl2:

Just got on and can't believe how much there is to catch up on:surfweb: ........We had a busy weekend as usual.....grass cutting, planting azaleas, etc on Sat a.m., Relay for Life on Saturday night (we had a great turn out and our team from radiation oncology raised almost $5,000.00 for the American Cancer Society!:cheer2: ) and then Lori and I spent the day scrap booking today!!!! (Disney pages of course!!;) ) Whew.......

I did it, I designed a few signs for Scott to look at and tell me which one he likes best. I am so excited. :cheer2:

Wow!! I'm jealous.......I thought I planned ahead but you've got me beat!!! I'm feeling lazy and behind all of a sudden........:sad2:

Could I join you ladies too? I need someone to motivate me and just reading about your success the last few weeks Lindy has been a good starter!

Cheryl

Okay, Okay,...........I admit it......I need to get on this band wagon too!!! Sign me up and we'll make a weekly party out of it!!! :woohoo: COUNT ME IN!!!

What time does the mnsshp parade start? and the fireworks?

We'll be leaving about 10pm, will we have seen most of it by then?

Karen....if I remember correctly, and if things haven't changed, I believe the parade started at 9:00 followed by the fireworks around 9:30. I know the park was open until midnight for the mnsshp!:woohoo: !! No matter what time they start YOU MUST STAY TO WATCH BOTH!!If you have never been to the halloween party, take it from me, the parade and the fireworks cannot be missed!!!!:yay:

Do you have Druckers cakes in America?

A WHAT????

Only kidding:hug:

We seek him here,.... we seek him there....

We seek that AFEG everywhere...

Where do we find him????............why in his posh concierge suite of course:lmao:

Will he have a picture posted on his door????!!!!!

If I could ask all of you for another prayer I would highly appreciate it. My DH's bosses son was in a horrible car accident on Thursday night. We are not sure of all the details but he is on life support and had bleeding in his brain. They say the outlook is not very good. His name is Mike and he is 17 years old. The star of his HS football team, and a real girl magnet as he puts it.

For those of you who have talked with my DH this is the family that we do fantasy football with so he is not only DH's boss but a friend. We will be going to the hospital on Sunday to see him and find out more.

Thank you all
Carrie

Carrie.....how terrible. We will of course keep him and the whole family in our prayers! Please update us when you can!

I am so excited. I just got back from doing a morning of shopping. I like to spend my days off going to thrift stores (just 2, Savers and Goodwill) to see what junk I can find. Well I went to Savers yesterday and found a nice shirt for Mackenzie for the cruise. No big deal, not that great of a day yesterday. But today I pulled up to Goodwill and realized that it was the 50% of everything sale today. I hate those days because you can never get a cart and it is always so busy. I told Mackenzie that she would have to walk next to me. We get in the door and what is there? A cart. :cool1: We got there at 9:45 and we did not leave until 11:40. I walked out with 18 items for $27.00. I am so excited. I got Mackenzie 2 formal dresses, and everyday dress, an every day shirt, and a toy that kept her busy while I shopped. I got Kelsey a pair of pj pants, and a nice shirt for the cruise. Now the best part of it all. I can never find anything for boys in good condition at a thrift store. Well needless to say I think all of Kyle shirts are done for the cruise dinners. I got him 2 long sleeve button down shirts, a sweater and 2 nice long sleeve shirts, and 2 everyday shirts, a black pair of slacks and a kahki pair of slacks. Then I got one bag of stocking stuffers for x-mas. I was so excited that I had to come home and wake up Scott to show him all the stuff.  :cool1: I never have days like this.

Carrie!!! DUHHHHH......Why didn't I think of shopping at Goodwill for my boys!!! It makes perfect sense to go there for dress clothes that they will only wear on the ship!!!! DUHHHHHH........Thanks Carrie!! You're the best!

Have many of you fine Americans been to Europe and made it to our fine shores? I usually think half of America is in Stratford on Avon (Shakespeare country) whenever I visit there.:rolleyes1 You sure do love our history. Us Brits are so used to it we take centuryies old buildings for granted, especially in our own home town.

Karen - I've been to Paris and Madrid but I have always wanted to see London. We have thought about it a few times but haven't made solid plans as of yet.........Maybe you could convince the DH that it is a trip that would be worthwhile for all of us, including our DS's ages 9 and 6!!!

Just an update on my mother. She is doing real well. On Friday she went to a movie. It was a 2 hour movie and then went home and took a 2 hour nap. So she feels she is not doing that good. But she does want to come it the youngest DD this week to go see a movie. Hmmm I don't think she is that up to it but I can not argue with her. Yesterday I took her on one quick errond and she was walking faster then me, and I walk pretty fast. Then she came ouside and sat for about 30 minutes in the heat while the rest of us were in the pool. She was busily taking pictures of all of us. I think she is getting better with each day.

Carrie - I'm soooooo glad! Unbelievable!! You must be taking great care of her and she must have a fighting spirit!!! How's Dad holding up??

Wow! I missed 2 pages of posts while I was typing my catch up post!!! You people can talk!!!!:rotfl2:
