Mike & Robin,

Everytime I see your signature I have to :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Next Disney Cruise, Western 7-night October 20, 20007

Boy, that's a LONG time to wait for your next cruise!!! :rotfl:

Almost forgot...this was the outfit she was wearing yesterday that I had mentioned. Her Daddy bought her this!

I wish I could go to work dressed like that! :lmao:

Cass, she's beautiful - I'm sure you never get tired of hearing that. :goodvibes

Brenda, it might be rather difficult to go to the bathroom!! :lmao:

And no, I never tire of hearing that, but even if she was an ugly baby, I still think she would be beautiful  :rolleyes1

Okay, I think we need to plan a mini-meet before the cruise! I was just looking at the KK site and saw that some of the KK's are arriving on the 17th.

What do you all (or as you Americans say "y'all) think about a DIS meet on the 18th? Maybe in the evening, non-park location I would think? That way if you are doing a park that day, you can still do the park and make the meet.
(Maybe Downtown Disney???)

I would love to have the meet on the 18th (to be able to include just about everyone) but I think that would pose some problems as some are spending that night in WDW and some in Cocoa Beach.

Any ideas???

Here's an alcoholic bump for my favorite kruisers...

A mojito is basically rum, club soda, and mint (or spearmint), with some simple syrup.

I know they are popular with lots of people but I don't like them. I'm not a big fan of rum or minty drinks, so that probably explains it.

Going' home now. :thumbsup2

Thanks for that Brenda love now how did i guess our resident ale cart would know the answer to said question?:rolleyes1

ps...To any UK travellers on the M1 motorway last night trying to purchase chicken nuggets from McDonald's may i take this opportunity to say sorry for their severe shortage after our visit as i was one of the four men who before purchasing 8x20 piece box :scared1: could have eaten a scabby monkey with flees, however it may help you to know having eaten my 40 nuggets (i was the only one to finish mine:sad2: ) i was up half the night with severe gut rot:sad2: much to Hazel's delight..NOT!!....:)

Just about everyone but us....:sad1: :sad1: :sad1:

Unless Midwest Airlines sells out to Air Tran we will be keeping our ressies for Friday Oct 19th. If for some reason MA does sell and we have to change our flights we are willing to fly down a day earlier just to meet up with y'all (:lmao: ..can a Wisconsinite use the "y'all" term? :lmao: ). Of course in that case we will be passing the hat for donations to help pay for one more night in a hotel.:rotfl2:

I was thinking the same thing yesterday but since I was so tough on Jeff (really?) I thought I'd go easy on the other DISers. I think I'd better tame down the sarcasam here since it looks like there will be many mini-meets planned without the cntkg1's already. :guilty:

SORRY!! Crap, what I MEANT to say was " I would love to have the meet on the 19th, but some people are staying at Cocoa (like us!) and some are staying at WDW!

Hmmm, maybe I should go to bed

When I get started on something, I hate to stop! I am working on a slide show for my brother's 40th birthday! :woohoo:

Well, it looks like the smarty-pants brigade was up early this morning...where to start?

1) Since when am I an ale-cart? Honestly, try to be a little helpful...sips coffee laced with brandy...and look up the recipe and people heap abuse on you...knocks over empty vodka bottle; I mean, I get this kind of crap every day at work...eyes leftover martini glass for overlooked drink puddle...I don't need it from you guys, too.

2) Et tu, Nancy?

3) AFEG, it's good to have you back...hiccough...next time try ordering six Big Macs instead.

4) I'd love to try a meet on the 18th if I can wash the alcoholic stench from my body, that is...I think I just spilled drambuie on my pants.
I'd like to throw out the idea of nabbing space at the Beach Club too - there are all kinds of wonderful open spaces and rooms that I could reserve for us. It's also a pretty easy location to get to and convenient - lots of food and drink options nearby...not that I'm worried about getting a drink or anything. We can start a pre-meet database in Yahoo this weekend and start getting a feel for those cruisers who would be interested...unless I forget to do it because I've destroyed so many brain cells with my excessive drinking.

5) Nancy, we have a 1-bedroom villa reserved at the Beach Club Villas - Jay and I would let you and Chuck have your choice of sleeping accommodations: the jacuzzi tub, the balcony, the entry-hall, or the sofa-sleeper. The other option would be to just pull an all-nighter over at Raglan Road...belches loudly, startles cat, and realizes she is going to be late for work - again.

6) Please go read my argie bargie, I updated just for you special peeps on the cruise...Oh my God, we're out of Boddingtons!!!

Refer to your post echoing AFEG's sentiment about my being an ale-cart. ;)

By the way... did I tell you guys that I ordered a case of Guavaberry liqueur this weekend? I split the cost with a friend of mine... six bottles for her and six bottles for me...and Jay.

Good afternoon everyone:goodvibes

Just got back from the Back to Back houses museum in Birmingham. It was really interesting to see how our ancestors lived in the 1830's. Geez, there were 10 in a little room sometimes:scared1: (and theres me thinking our house is tiny:rotfl: )

They had one downstairs room which was used as lounge, dining room, kitchen, and then 2 more floors with a double bed on each floor - 5 kids to a bed at times!

No inside loo either - it was outside in the yard and was shared between loads of other families:scared1:

I'd love to meet up - DTD sounds a great idea - I can combine it with my christmas bauble shopping a a meal at Rainforest.:cool1: We're up for it - stick us on your list:thumbsup2

Chris - welcome back to you and your dwarf;)

I dont know how you can eat McD's:scared: - burger king are way better.

Cass,

Mike is right. We may need a baby fix while on the cruise. Might have to steal a hug from Kira. Our grandaughter is 7 mos. now.

If we take a cruise together in coming years, Addison and Kira will have a friend on board.

Thanks for the info on the dolphin swim.

Wow... Talk about waiting patiently! October 20, 20007...That was a big typo.:rotfl:

Robin

Hey, where did everyone go?

I was just kidding in my earlier post...I thought you guys had a sense of humor??? :confused3

I'm at work but I'm not motivated to do anything - won't anyone here help me "waste" some time?

Hi everyone. Just doing the daily check-in. Brenda, you've updated?!! Yahoooo! After I post this, I am off to read......

Sorry, we won't be able to meet at WDW. We're coming in to Port Canaveral on the evening of the 19th. I guees we'll just see y'all on the ship, or in the terminal, or in the line to get into the terminal......

What I would really love to do is fly into Orlando a day or so early....by myself! Wouldn't Rob just love me for having him drive all the way from Virginia with the three arguing kids!?!:rotfl2:

Karen, the houses you're describing sound like "shotgun" houses only the 3 rooms are built on top of each other. A "shotgun" house (my mom was raised in one-with 3 brothers and 4 sisters) was a 3 room 1 story house. The rooms were directly behind one another. When she talks about those days, I feel like an idiot for complaining that my house is too small. I can't imagine raising 8 kids in a big house, much less a shotgun house.

Hi guys!

Just checking for the day!

Well, don't know if it's just a fluke, but my Sammie's made a bit of progress on the potty training front! Last night I had her all in her jammies, stories read and light out when she said "I gotta go potty." I sort of groaned, just knowing it was a stall tactic to avoid going to bed. But, I didn't want to discourage her. So, off we traipse to the bathroom. Take off the jammies (one piece zip up thingy) and the diaper, and sit her butt on the pot. A few seconds later, she actually went! :cool1: Woo hoo! Mommy & Daddy were so proud! I can't believe she actually told us first! :cloud9:

Sat her on it again this morning, and nothing. But, at least we had a bit of success last night. Here's to hoping it's finally getting through that thick skull of hers!!!

Mike & Robin,
:lmao: Yeah that was a tiny little typo!! :rotfl:
Nice siggie!!! Love the pic of the four of you, love how you are
all matching :cool1:
