Are those with upcoming dates excited and ready to go? I'm needing to pack, but I still have a month to go....so I'll wait about 2 more weeks before I start.

Completely conflicting feelings right now, yes and no, I'm excited, but I'm also dreading packing (not yet started and have less than 10 days to go now), and also have a lot of stuff I need to do at work before my trip!

I'm officially 3 weeks from today! I have a pile of clothes I started in June when we got back from our last trip so that's about as packed as I am at the moment. I'm the weirdo who will try on everything first to make sure it looks like I think it does in my head.

I'm also a teacher and our trip is the week of my fall break so honestly, I'm excited to be at DL but I'm also pretty excited to be out of this classroom!

I’ll be in the parks October 22-24 with OBB on the last day! Staying a little further than I’d like at the Hilton Home2 Suites, but we needed the space for our 3 adults and 2 kids. This will be our first trip not in late August - I’m a little nervous for the crowds but looking forward to the Halloween experience!

SAME! I have a morning and afternoon outfit for each park day, an outfit for Halloween brunch at Goofy's Kitchen, plus my OBB costume I've found a ton of cute Baublebar earrings and jewelry at TJ Maxx. But I missed out on the Baublebar spider web Minnie ears online and I have major FOMO because I have convinced myself they would complete one of my outfits. Guess I'll just have to buy a different pair when I get there...right?

I can totally relate about the stuff for work.....I will actually have to take my laptop with me, so I can get some work done....I have reports that I do for our Executives that no one else can do.

Just temper your expectations on crowd levels, and you'll be fine. Remember, if they get too hectic, take a breather and continue when you're ready. That's what I have to keep telling myself.

I've found over the years, that if I start packing too early, I will inevitably forget something. So I try to pack within 2 weeks of any trip now. This old-addled brain of mine seems to handle it better.

But did you remember to pack shoes for each outfit? That's what always kills me on my packing. That, and I love to take our Halloween tree and set it up in the room. Needless to say, we've started driving from TX, because I need my DIsney Halloween stuff. Did I just say the quiet part out load?

Yes!!! I’m the same, all the outfits and the Baublebar from TJ Maxx, plus unique Etsy finds! I got an AMAZING pair of vampire Mickey earrings and his collar is purple and that day I have a purple dress and velvet purple ears! I’m too excited!
I wish I could do cute shoes but mostly I’m running shoes because of all the walking. I’m a nurse and already walk a lot at work but need to keep my feet in good shape!

I've been trying to convince myself that I could wear my Dr. Martens for at least part of the day It's not going to happen but I got the Madame Leota t-shirt dress from Cakeworthy and I'm planning on wearing them with fishnets and the Docs just look so good with it! But I'm an all-dayer at the park and I need my feet to survive too so I guess I'm sticking with my trusty platform Converse since they haven't failed me at Disney yet!

My trip that was supposed to happen this Thursday just got rescheduled to Oct 18-20. I have reservations at both Grand Legacy and Candy Cane. I'll decide this week which one I want to keep. I haven't stayed at either one before, but my usual go-to's were booked with the late change.

So ridiculously excited. Just my husband and me staying at Desert palms Oct 10 - 13. Yes, I know the park will be insanely busy, but I too, am also a teacher and that's when we have the time off. My first trip NOT chaperoning high school kids and hubby's first trip ever. SO excited for ALL the Star Wars!!

bit of a rant, sorry for the negativity but in almost two weeks from today for my first time and I'm really bummed with all the refurbs and scrims going on everywhere around Disneyland and DCA.

But anyway, trying to keep a positive mind before going but I'm kinda beat down right now I gotta say

I'm going the first few days of November, so not far behind you. I totally get the disappointment and your feelings are valid! I am bummed about the railroad likely being down, and missing Tiana's by a few weeks.

But I keep telling myself about all the great things I have to look forward to! There are actually a handful of "never done that" activities I'm finally going to tackle -- Storybook Canal (how is it possible I haven't been on this?!), Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway (never did it since it opened), and Astro Orbitor at night. Hopefully there are some things like that you can focus on. Or maybe some exciting dining experiences or new foods to try? It's going to be a great time either way, trust me! We just have to go in with a positive mindset and a willingness to have a blast!

Bless all you teachers. I know it'd be nice to get away from kids for a while, but at least they're not under your purview during vacay. Enjoy it as much as most kids do!! Ride, Laugh, Eat, Repeat!!
