OMG so glad I checked the board again! They were not up as of 6am central time this morning when I checked. This just made my day. Still can't make the reservations I wont though.

FYI ALERT!!! I just booked BLUE BAYOU dinner special for party night on 10-12 for 5:10pm, special package. I'm not even sure what it entails, but I assume it's like the PTN package and not the Mystic event they had last year so I jumped on it.

WOC and Plaza inn not available yet, but the Blue Bayou was open!

I can't seem to get any times after lunch hours...how did you manage to book for the party? We are really wanting to do the dinner.

my heart cant handle this splash news. blehhhhhh I just got off the phone with Disney and she did confirm a reopening of nov. 3rd. She mentioned that it is an odd time for a splash refurb so I should continue to check the schedule when it gets closer, because they could finish it sooner. Although, after reading through the recent SM thread, it seems like it needs a fair bit of work.

On the daily events page it's showing Splash Mountain down for refurb beginning October 3 and it's sounding like it might last until early November Our first night in the park is October 2nd so we're going to be sure to get as many rides in as we can!!

I'm surprised it's going down in October since it's a popular time of year and often still hot!

Of course it'll be down for October. My daughter finally talked me into giving it a try.

Yeah, my daughter it going to be so bummed. Splash is one of her favorite rides. She was so excited that I was finally willing to give it a try. I guess the bright side is now I don't have to worry about not being able to get in and out of the ride. (my attempt at getting into the canoe ride ended in disaster! LOL)

i got reservations too for both our party nights -- oct 10 and 12 @ 5:10pm both nights

I also just booked a 5:10 special dinner on october 5th.

I just opened up BB and I saw that the latest option was for 3:30 so I clicked on 3:30 and then did a search for reservation times and low and behold there it was-5:10 Mickeys Halloween Party Diner package.

Yea for me and Yea for the Dissers who posted their success and prompted me to try it!

Edited to add: I don't know the price or the menu so I'll keep my other BB res until I find out for sure.

Had to giggle at this. Due to some medical issues, I can't feel my feet sometimes. Due to not being able to feel my feet, my balance is off. Add that to 50 lbs I've gained in 5 years, and I'm a walking, talking, tripping, falling disaster. When it was my time to try the canoe, I got placed on the right side... But I made them balance it so that I could sit on the left and scoot over instead of stepping over. And I still barely missed falling in.

I had a great time on them, but it's going to take my ego a whole to recover from having 4 people assist me in and out!

At least with splash, I can't fall far, and there's bars to help me help myself up and out!

Oh, I made quite the spectacle out of myself. I have medical issues as well, and my knees don't like to bend. I ended up on the bottom of the canoe, folded like a taco with my head between my daughter's knees (thank God it was her and not a stranger!!) and my feet straight up in the air. It took my brother and three or four CMs to extricate me from my jumbled mess and get me seated on the bench. Talk about humiliation! The bone spurs in my spine weren't very happy with me, but I survived it.

Same. I'm going to keep trying every hour or so through the US night. I will post if they come up before midnight here (7am there).

I just booked our reservation for WOC for Oct 20th at Ariel's. Still can't book Plaza Inn yet.

ETA: I finally got Minnie's Breakfast booked! Took a lot of clicking to get the times to populate when I wanted them, but finally got Oct 19th.

I think that's all my reservations complete... Unless they add something else I just can't resist!

I got up at 5am central time and ran to check for Plaza Inn Character breakfast times for the week of October 10-14 and I got in! Thank.You.Disney. I was a little discourage at first because all they were showing were times after 9:10am. We really don't like to waste our morning and try to get a park open time. After playing with the Disney App and online reservation system for about 30min I got our 8am time slot! So excited! Never has making reservations at Disneyland been so nerve racking, my gosh!

I just woke up early and was finally able to book WOC at CC for October 14. It is odd because they do not have the entertainment calendar up yet so I don't know the hours of WOC though I am assuming they are the same as the prior Friday.

As others are posting, all of our October 9-14 dinner and event reservations are now complete. We were able to get our times and everything worked out perfectly. Good luck to everyone today. WOC dessert on the 10th opposite a party in DL and BB parade package on Wed for our party, a nice trip...heck they are all nice trips...
