We have our trip planned for October 2-9. We are so excited. Does anyone think that Disney will extend FD into October? It would be nice to save some money. Either way, we can't wait to get there. :yay:

How would you save money, you have to pay rack rates for the room to get FD:)

There is a PIN code including your dates currently. The thought is that it will eventually go public, but not until July or August.

Yes, but you get free food, and there may not be any other discount available. It saves our family hundreds of dollars. :goodvibes

Thank you so much!!! I will be on the look out. :cool1:

I really hope so!! We're going on our first ever family trip on 10/26-11/2!

It does not work well for single travelers like myself or couples; room discounts are much better.

But a family of 5 who say stays at POR/AB, pays only for double occupancy and then gets 5 dining plans for the entire week, they make out great.

We were two rooms; six adults and two kids at POR and we saved about $1500.00 for an eight day trip.

Discounts work differently for people; one has to pick what works best for them.

My family ( 9 of us ) is meeting in DW Oct.13, any news on discounts/pin codes?

You can go to the discount codes and rates board and subscribe to a thread that is watching out for that particular month.

Discounts come out in time periods and one doesn't usually come out until the other one is closed. So as the PP stated, while there is a pin code out for October, it is a good indication it may be a general public discount, but it won't come out until the current one ends its booking period.
