October 2013 airfares

We had a great time in WDW this past Thanksgiving, and so are considering going again. Since we're DVC members, it means we can book 11 months in advance. That date is still a week away ... so in the meantime, I thought I'd check to see if I could find an airfare deal out of Pearson.

Air Canada's Tango fares are all gone for the dates we'd need. So at Tango Plus, the fare would be a whopping $1,874.73 for the three of us.

I'll do a little bit of cruising on the WJ site to see if I might be able to snag something better there when the dates open up, but if not, then it's shuffling off to Buffalo.

Honestly -- almost one year in advance and that's the best we can get?

I think your date in the subject line is a yr off....shouldn't it be October 2012 fares? in any event, I am looking for the same flights and right now, they are outrageous....actually I am looking for flights from Edmonton and for 3, it is quoting around $2700.00 right now hopefully in the new yr. Those rates will drop some, as my max I want to pay is $1800 and that's even high!

I am leaning towards west jet right now as we could fly into Toronto Friday night (sept 28) and then fly out on the 10 am flight, arriving in Orlando by 1:30 pm....honestly, the schedules are pretty yucky as well, and West Jets's has the most feasible schedule....allowing us to arrive with a decent amount of the day still left , and depart at 2pm on our departure day (Oct 7) so we are not rolling out of bed pre-crack of dawn to catch a too early flight!

I hope airfare starts coming down some, as we don't have the fortune of having the option of a US airport to fly out of the current prices are ridiculous!

The October 2012 fares are not quite ready yet.......but fares for Sept/12 are available for Directair flights from Niagara Falls ,NY to Lakeland (45 mins for Orlando).
They are $240 return including tax

I've been looking for beginning of Nov 2012 out of Buffalo and have not been able to see anything. I've been able to find flights out of Toronto but it's more expensive, flying from Buffalo is half the price.
