New to this forum, so hoping that I am posting this in the right spot. I am taking my 9 year old and 13 year old to Disneyland in October. Can anyone tell me the best week to go and how crowded it is? Also, I heard a rumor that the Alice In Wonderland ride is closing for repair. Does anyone know when that is? Thanks!
The best time to visit during October really is any time. The closer the season approaches Halloween, the more crowded it will become. For every ride attraction that a fast pass is available for, take it. In addition, as each FP becomes available, take that as well. Are you going to be attending the Halloween Party?
To the best of my knowledge Alice is not scheduled for refurbishment anytime soon. I believe she will be open as well for the entire month of October.

My wife and I will be going the 1st week in October. I went to DL just before DCA opened around 2000 so it's been about 12 years for me and she's never been to California so we're both looking forward to the trip.
