***October 2012 Thread*** MNSSHP + Food & Wine - Does It Get Any Better?

My DH worked for UPS during college and is a packing master. Not just packing his clothes etc., but when he packs the back of the car it's like a real life tetris game!

My DH would say this about me

The combination of getting an annual pass and a great deal on airfare enabled me to book a short trip over Halloween, 10/29-11/1. :D

I'm really looking forward to MNSSHP and checking out F&W. I've never been at this time of year before, and it'll help feed my addiction until I return in January!

I know how you're feeling! I feel the same way. It's hard to sleep and I'm running off cappuccino everyday. I have been nervous feeling all week, like I'm waiting on something bad to happen! I know I will feel better once I get through this coming week and I will only have 7 more days!

Glad to know I'm not the only one feeling like this. It's weird but at least I'm not alone. lol

Hoping you have the best vacation ever!! Sending you a great big cloud of pixiedust: to start you off right.

Thank you sooooooooooooooooooooo much!!!

Do I need to bring trick-or-treat buckets for MNNSHP or do they give out bags?

Do you know how it works with the Food and Wine Festival and dining plan snacks? Is there a dollar limit, or . . . ?

Thanks!

P.S. re: packing. In our house I carry in my head the master list of what everyone needs. I make piles of all the stuff that needs to go, then my husband brings up the suitcases from the basement and packs the piles into the suitcases. (He's much neater at this than I am, and he can fit much more into a suitcase.) He packs himself, although I do offer occasional reminders. I just wish I could start packing now, with summer stuff we're not wearing, glow sticks for evenings, etc. But the kids would go NUTS throwing stuff (unnecessary clothes, all their toys) into the suitcases if I brought them up now. So I must wait . . .

they hand out small trick or treat bags at mnsshp, though many people also say they bring their own. take a look at josh's blog; he has a picture of the bag they are handing out this year: http://www.easywdw.com/uncategorized/2012-mickeys-not-so-scary-halloween-party-disney-world-character-locations-strategy-pictures-videos-and-fluff/

for food and wine festival, as long as there is a disney dining snack credit logo next to an item on the menu, then you can use your snack credits for it. we've already planned out all 14 of our snack credits; we are using them on items that are $5 or more.

Less then 3 days now due to the fact that I have 6:30am flight. I guess it would be a fantasy to think our room will be ready... we land at 9:20am.

Maybe, we've been lucky and had our room ready at 8am before at YC. :)

Yeah, we will be arriving very early on 10/19. I think we land at MCO at like 8:30 am or something. Wondering what the chances are of our room at CSR being ready when we check in? :scratchin

3 days to go!

I like the MNSSHP bags. I want to see Wreck It Ralph :) Looks cute.

Here's a sunshine burst of pixiedust: as you wait for these final few days. It gets so hard to sleep the night before!!

4 days of work left for me! 5 days until we begin our 12 hour drive down to WDW. I was looking at the weather and I need to stop because it's freaking me out seeing scattered thunderstorms for the first few days we're down there.

10 days for us! Woohoo! Did online checkin today - finally feels real! I'm so excited!

5 work days and 1 weekend until the trip!!! WHAT?! :hyper::drive:party:

As you can see, I am just a LITTLE excited!

14 days left and I have caught a massive migraine! When they set in it could be weeks before they stop! Pixie dust required at this point! 4 more days till we can save time and check in online!

4 days left here and my throat is on FIRE! Just glad I got it now and not while I'm in Disney. Get it over with!
