October 2012 Rental Cars

I don't see a thread in the first couple of pages, so forgive me if there is already a price stalking thread for this month and please direct me to the party!


I've opened my rental hunt with a reservation for National, October 16-27 for a fullsize [EE] at $324 [using KLM + free day from Ent. Book.] Have a free day from Em Club, but not quite sure how I want to book it, as I tend to rebook often and don't want to "lose" it somehow. I figure this booking is just the start of the fun, and am sure it will go down considerably before we go. The last two trips I've been able to see it fall all the way to just over $100 for 10 days.

Expedia.ca is coming up with a rate of $259.20 CDN for your dates. This is for a full-sized car with Budget and includes a free additional driver (spouse), unlimited mileage, and all taxes and fees.

The major downfall here is that you would have to pay in full at the time of booking. But in my experience, rates ARE cancellable (I was able to cancel my Expedia.ca ressie just over a week out for our January 2012 trip, and I had a full refund of all funds to my credit card in 24 hours ).

No codes required.....just run your dates on Expedia's Canadian site.
