We're planning on going either the 15th-18th or 22nd-25th but I'm really feeling overwhelmed by finding a place to stay. Of course, my husband is no help but then has no problems complaining if the one I choose isn't just right. Ugh.

Quick question, Does anyone think it's worth it for me and my husband to buy tickets for the trick or treat thing they have at DCA or is this mostly for the kidos? Does DCA close early for this and kick out the people who don't have tickets for this event?

Hi! Mickey's Halloween Party (MHP) is held at DL this year, not at DCA. DL is supposed to close to non-ticket-holders at 6 p.m. on Tuesdays and 7 p.m. on Fridays and Halloween. We bought the MHP ticket because we are using park-hoppers and opted to buy the MHP as our entry ticket for that Tuesday. Wed-Saturday, we have 4-day hopper tickets.

I think it's worth it, since it (at least) guarantees I'll see the special Halloween fireworks from the park, and because I want to do the MHP at least once.

We are arriving on Oct 16 and leaving on Oct 20. My husband and I will be staying at the Villas at Grand Califorian in a studio. While we have gone to WDW a number of times, this will be our first visit to DL.

I haven't been to Disneyland in 10 years!!! and it was always with my parents so they did all the panning! I have been to WDW 2 times now and planning a Disneyland trip is SO weird! If I was planning WDW by I now I would know where I am eating, where I am going, on what day at what time! I know nothing right now!! Oh well guess I better relax

I am so excited!!! DH and I will be checking in to HOJO's Oct 24th and leaving the 29th. We'll spend the entire time at DL/DCA. We always do Goofy's breakfast but might change that this time. If WOC is showing, we may do Ariel's or the picnic. Hopefully, Aladdin will be showing. Love Aladdin!!! DH is from England so he always has to go on the pirate ride first. I tell him it reminds him of home!!!! We have to eat at the Plaza Inn. Maybe BB not sure, depends on how much money I can make before the trip. I have to have a Micky krispie. The only thing I'm concerned with, is the crowds for the Halloween stuff. I know it's only 2 days, but we've never been in Oct before. Have gone in Sept and have gone in Nov but not Oct. Anyone who can let me know, or what they think, would be appreciated. Add me to the group!!!! We can't wait!!!

Are we married to the same man? Well I am NO help becuase I haven't been in 10 years BUT I think sometimes we stress about stuff that really isn't that important...so just think about what's the MOST important stuff to you and find a place that has that stuff Good Luck!

Ok I talked it over with DH and apparently HE thought my trip to DL with DS2 was going to be only 1 day! 1 Day? I threw a fit because I cant do 1 day DL trips anymore... I need more then one day! I would live there if I could! So this evenings conversation was pretty insane ... like we was in court or something debating who gets what.... of course I wanted PPI for 4 nights and I wanted to turn my 3 day into a AP on Sunday- so that way I still had a MM before I turned it into an AP. Well he thought I was going to drive there in the middle of the night or early sat... then spend half of Sat at the park, all Sunday plus the party... and then the morning of mon then drive home Mon afternoon. He argued the pros and cons of waiting to get my AP until April- that way I can definetly go back at Christmas time... (I love Christmas time at DL) - which is not going to happen this year since I am going at Halloween time... /sigh. So I was like Ok fine then, I wont get an AP... but I still want 4 nights.... he was like ummm No.... we dont have a $1,000 to spend 4 nights at the PPI plus all the OTHER expenses like costs of tickets, traveling fees, food souveniers etc. /sigh....ok Fine Then! Just let me have my 4 nights at BWPPI. It will save you $500. Plus no AP- even though in the long run you will regret it cause if I find extra money I will be going to DL... LOL So you can cross out the PPI for me.... maybe next time! And thank you for adding me to your list! hehe!
