October 2010 Anyone Else?

Quick question....
Has anyone ever done Fantasmic and fireworks in the same night? There is only one night of our trip (Oct. 3-8)that they are showing and I LOVE :lovestruc both! I don't think I could choose one or the other. I was just wondering if it's possible to do both in one night and if anyone here has ever successfully accomplished it?

Most would recommend F! first then watching the fireworks from there... it is next to impossible to make your way from one area to the other because of crowds between shows. F! starts at 9:05 with the fireworks right after... so you won't have time to move... You could try the fireworks 1st (at 9:30), but then you risk not being able to get to ROA by 10:30 when the 2nd F! starts... if you aren't too picky about viewing spot, you could try it!

Thank you! Oh, and....

33 Days

Looks like Mickey's house was taken off the list of refurbs while I am there. This should make a few people happy.

I noticed that too... since it always seems to be down when we are there, we have never actually gone in his house!! Might have to try for it this time...

Let's see if I can get all the info in:

DD 11, DD 9, myself---first ever trip to Disneyland (or any other Disney related place outside of a store...)
DH---pretty much "first time" since his real first time was at age 4

October 15 (or 16) - 22
Fairfield Inn

MHP October 19
Costumes: DD 9 wants to be a Wizard (need my mom to sew a cape, etc); not sure about DD 11; I found a fun idea in a Wizard Craft book---it shows a unicorn and dragon costume and I thought I'd make the head parts for DH & me (it's a ball cap, styrofoam balls, and craft foam). Not sure if DH will wear it though....

No character dining

Still need to buy tickets (park hoppers and Halloween party)
Still need to decide on flight (direct 15-22 to LAX $130RT or one stop each way 15 or 16-22 to SNA $178RT)

Did I get everything?

I'm so excited!!!!!!!

Have any of you ever purchased the California city pass (not sure if that is exactly what its called)? Its the one where u get 3 days at Disneyland and 1 day at Universal, San Diego zoo and Sea World.

I am thinking of doing this instead of buying tickets individually because its going to save us over $100.

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this.

I did the city pass in 06, it was a great deal Would highly recommend it.

As for the October Trip

We are getting married on the 16th, will be in DL from the 17th to the 20th.

We are actually going to go offsite and go to Mid Evil Times, in the hundreds of trips I have taken I have never been there before.
