Hi Guys,

I'm thinking about going to Orlando in early Oct 2009. I've never been this early in Oct before and was just wondering the usual stuff, how busy is it, temperature, prices compared to late Oct.

Hope someone can help me with this, long time away but never too early to plan.

Hi,

Weather wise a great time to go, still warm but temperartures not too high.

Crowd levels more difficult to predict, October is becoming more popular and there are special events on at the parks too this time of the year.
Certainly won't be extremely busy like it is at Easter and Christmas.

Overall it is a good month to visit.

I would recommend October, great weather, little or no rain and light crowds.

Take a warm fleece for first thing in the morning, but come 11 0'clock it very hot.

My Wife and I went last october and had a great time. Crowds were pretty low even with the food and wine festival (which IMO is a good enough reason on its own to go in october) and the weather was great too.
