We're having our Escape wedding on October 21st, 2.30pm at SBP

Hoping for Citrico's Chef's Domaine and an Epcot dessert party too!

October 12th, 2009 - 12pm SBP, 2pm Reception Boardwalk Ballroom and then DP at UK Upper.

11 months from yesterday - and the DF even remembered!

We are getting married Oct 10 next year. We are having our wedding here at home in VA, but we are spending a wonderful 10 nights in the World for our honeymoon

Our wedding is October 11th 2009. We're having a welcome DP at Lower UK on the 10th. Ceremony on the 11th is at 5:00 at the WP. Cocktail Hour at Italy Isola West, and Reception at China Pavilion. I'm super duper excited that we're less than a year away (and even just 11 months now!). I couldn't be happier about all the wonderful things that are coming up. Our contract was submitted to Disney this week and our planning session was scheduled for Friday February 13th!!! I'm just awaiting word on who our planner is! Crossing my fingers for someone good!

Toni, you're kidding - your contract was submitted? Planning session scheduled? WHA?! I've got none of that - EEK!! When did you hear all this?

Meg, I'd probably get in touch with your contact at DFTW if you haven't received your contract yet, as the signing and return of this is what guarantees your wedding time slot and location....

I believe all of that happened for us right away because our wedding events are taking place IN a theme park. If your events are taking place outside of the theme park, nothing is done until the 9 month mark. We scheduled our planning session for February because we wanted to take advantage of a three day weekend (we are both state workers) and we didn't want to try and do Disney around Memorial Day weekend, so Presidents Day weekend just made sense for us. I wouldn't panic...let us know how you make out!

Ok yes, I worried again for naught. I swear I'm going to be known as the board worrier by the time this wedding comes around. We sign in February because of SBP. I just feel like I'm missing something between now and January when we do the room block. So thanks for the calming thoughts back to celebrating the less than 11 months until our weddings!

I'm the same way!! It feels strange to have this lull period and unable to really do anything until then!!! I will give you a run for your money for the board worrier, lol
